There's something about the fact that the Tribe of Endless Hunting seemed welcoming and wished to guide StormClan away from their terrible fate, and the wildcat ancestors accepted Gale Rise and her kits as their own. Gale, in turn, was respectful of their cultures, which I'm sure helped. But it almost makes me think that the authors do write StarClan to be absolutely fucked on purpose. They juxtaposed Gale Rise feeling warm and safe and loved with her new people and new name with Stripebark in the deepest pits of self-loathing getting yelled at by the living and being LITERALLY CURSED by StarClan. The dream (of the books actually intentionally acknowledging how much StarClan sucks) isn't dead and that's what keeps readers coming back isn't it

The writers really ate when they made both Callum and Harrow insecure about their relationship. Prince “I’m just his stepson” Callum and King “I know I’m not your birth father” Harrow your tragic relationship will always be famous to me.

It’s s travesty that Runaan and Viren never got to be alive at the same time to reminisque about their surprisingly NOT unique experiences of coming back to life after being dead for 2 years to your daughter having aquired a boyfriend of the species your own species is at war with, and immediately having to go on an urgent road trip with them.
