Ranking Reasons I’ve Seen People Give For Dropping Riverdale (from most reasonable to least):

“They got superpowers” to me this reason is boring as fuck but I can understand why ppl who watched the show as it was coming out weren’t fans of the genre change

“Bughead broke up” you’d think this one would be lower for how much it makes my eye twitch but many people exclusively watched the show for them so I kinda get it. Even tho the ship never fully goes away

“They graduated” this one is just stupid to me bcuz the tone rly doesn’t change that much and we still have the high school as a setting. But I get not liking change

“They went to the 50s” again, I think this reason is dumb and boring but I understand not liking change. I just think if you got through the first six seasons and drew the line and s7…well I have a lot of questions, that’s all

“It got weird” when??? They never specify when. It was weird from the first episode. Ppl who say this never truly knew Riverdale

“Cheryl got with a woman” so you were okay with Gay Kevin but not Lesbian Cheryl???😭 This reason is blatant homophobia but also just confusing bcuz the show was gay before that??? Betty and Veronica kiss in the first episode

“The talking dog” what. What talking dog. What show are you watching. Are you talking about Bingo?? He doesn’t talk. Reggie’s puppet? Yes it talks but it’s not a dog. I think about this comment every day what were they talking about

It’s my cannon that Grace finds out he’s aroace from Rocky. Rocky gets the laptop and does a deep dive on human gender and sexuality (who wouldn’t wanna learn about alien culture). And then one day Grace casually mentions how he’s never really had interest in dating or sex and hasn’t ever felt that way about someone (perhaps recalling Shapiro and Dubois) and Rocky’s just like. Well yes, you’re 🎶🎵 and has to pull up the wiki article for Grace to read. I just think it’d be so funny if he learns his sexuality from an alien who had no concept of such a thing previously.

Favorite piece of Sam Winchester fanon?

this is an interesting sentiment from people who dislike Sam actually , and even moreso within the show — Sam holds massive guilt from times in his life which he can't necessarily control , such as his possession by Gadreel and even his stint without a soul . though neither of those are entirely his fault , he seems to shoulder a lot of blame for that and it's weird to see that spread so enthusiastically
