2. Post and share your work on the designated prompt day. Be sure to use the #korrasamiweek2026 tag or mention @korrasamiweek2026 in your post, or submit the post directly to the blog. You can also add any works posted on ao3 to the collection here.
3. Engage with other people's work! Reblogs, comments, and likes are always appreciated.
4. Fanwork must be Korrasami-focused. Other characters and pairings are more than welcome, but the work should be centered around Korra and Asami.
5. Fanwork must be your own. Reposts of another creator's work and AI-generated content will not be accepted.
6. This is an 18+ event, as we will be accepting explicit works. Please follow Tumblr’s Community Guidelines regarding such works. Explicit content of adult characters is perfectly fine, as long as it follows tumblr’s rules. If you're unsure or just want to be cautious, feel free to link to an outside source. Wow, this one almost got me. Picture is AI-- lots of flawed logic.
First, it'd be a little uncommon to see a pool like this without a screen in Florida. Not rare by any means, but I've lived here a decade and I see them once in a blue moon.
Second, look at how much debris is in the water. That pool float could've blown over from a neighbor's yard, I suppose, but it'd need to be BRAND spankin' new to be so green.
Third, there is no way in hell a gator's balancing on that thing. They prefer to be in the water, and it's claws would likely pop the float.
Fourth, the space is illogical. Who
has a their pool ~2 feet in front of their door??? With NO STEPS? Yikes! And the perspective on the far fence is whack.

a part of me is very satisfied by every fanfic and headcanon that shows mira and zoey absolutely LOVING rumi's patterns and kissing them and everything.
the other part kinda wishes that there was more friction there.
hate and vitriol don't just evaporate, you know? and maybe it's because a blender is rumi's natural habitat, but i kind of want to see/read zoey and mira hesitating.
when rumi is in the way, they don't lightly push her to the side, but instead ask her to move. when rumi is crying, they don't wipe her tears, but instead just hand her a tissue. when they pass her a glass of water, they don't give it to her directly, but instead put it on the counter for her to take.
just small things done to avoid touching the tainted skin, the markings that make their stomachs churn.
and to dial up the angst even MORE, imagine mira waking up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom or something, and she catches a glimpse of the patterns in the hallway and INSTANTLY summons the gok do and swings. and it's rumi, now bleeding, and mira is sorry, but she can't deny the instinctive hate that punched her chest when she saw the patterns.
or imagine zoey, exhausted from fighting a demon horse turning around only to see another body marked with patterns, and she just shoots a shin kal, the motion automatic and precise. and it's rumi, now bleeding, and zoey is sorry, but she can't deny the instinctive fear that forced her to throw the weapon.
they are uncomfortable, and cannot get used to it for a long time, and when they do get used to it, they sometimes still flinch when rumi rounds a corner. and it's agony for them as much as it is for rumi—the person they love the most brandishing something they were taught to despise and destroy.
BUT TO END ON A LIGHTER NOTE! i do think this would make the moment in which they finally dare to touch her patterns and kiss them even more gut-punching in the best way possible.
