99% sure someone I follow is in an anti omegaverse tag bc they’re just letting out a barrage of posts condemning as transphobic and homophobic, and I guess I got vent on just how tired I am of how ppl will just pretend both cis and trans men aren’t there only to speak on their behalf? I know everyone’s experiences are different, but the majority of enjoyers I’ve known aren’t cis or girls. A lot of the spite seems to be towards gender roles and the concept of mpreg, but the thing about a/b/o is you don’t have to focus on or even include either of those. Sometimes it’s nice to play with the idea of pregnancy in a way that might not make you dysphoric. Sometimes it’s nice to imagine a same-sex couple like you want/have in a universe where you fit right into the society you’ve been denied a part of. Sometimes butt-lube and automated coupling is just convenient. Sometimes you just like werewolves. There’s too much variety, and lvls of the more kinky stuff each author is willing to go into to just round it all up to “ugh those gross *american accent* ‘fujo’ women are at it again 🙄” but what the hell else is new tbh? It’s not like queer men could EVER be involved in M/M fandom spaces after all, gay sex is a women’s only interest and they’re sick bitches for it /s
