what sparks this you may ask? the reaction to Logan’s face model in the new cinematic trailer that was released the other day.

people are saying “put the mask back on” and saying the face model is ugly, or that they just don’t like it. it pisses me off for multiple reasons.

1. that’s literally just Liam McIntyre’s face (the actor portraying Logan in the game). i feel really bad for him bc he seems so excited for people to play the game, and i hope that he stays off the internet for a while bc so much of the comments online are about how “ugly” the face model is. Which is modeled after HIS face. i feel bad for the guy.

2. what the fuck were people expecting? Hugh Jackman? move on. he’s not gonna be Logan for every single project. people have gotten so used to the idea of a certain image in games anymore. especially with the rise of “gooner” type games. if a character doesn’t fit a certain personal attraction level, people get pissed. get over yourselves.

3. people have been picking this game apart since the leaks. how about we wait for the game to come out?? what the fuck ever happened to that?? people will find anything to complain about this game. have i complained about the game? sure. it was about a plotline that has been very overdone, not appearances. two very different things. complaining about the attraction level annoys me. like people are genuinely saying it’s the reason they won’t get the game. which good i guess? it’s your money spend it how you want, but for that to be the reason? sad.

i’m just really angry about this. it’s annoying, and unnecessary. people don’t know how to just scroll if they don’t like something. hey! fyi! you don’t have to interact with the things you don’t like online! and complaining about a character being “too ugly” is insane.

there are so many other love interests for Logan. like A LOT. bro’s made his way around the mansion. we know this. IT’S NOT JUST JEAN. like can we get something else with Mariko?? the jean plotline is tired.

as soon as i saw the photo he had in that new trailer for the game, i rolled my eyes. like i’m so done with it. and don’t get me started on xmen 97. i’ve seen clips of the episode in season 2. i haven’t gotten to the episode yet, but i’m hella annoyed.
