I’m Rowan (he/they/it) , some creature who found their way to this app. I tend to hyperfixate on things for extended periods of time. I find myself more focused on specific characters sometimes as opposed to the entire creation (be it a book, game, show, movie, etc.). I primarily do writing, on the rare occasion you may see a drawing. I have so many headcanons that’ll die with me unless asked about them, so feel free to ask about that, or share yours with me! I know mourning/grieving takes time, but does anyone have any advice on what I should do? I’m so fucking miserable, and I’m only getting out of bed to take care of my pets. Eat, drink, I know, I get it, that’s the bare minimum of what I need to be doing. I just feel like laying down all day isn’t helping my mood. I feel restless and exhausted at the same time.

Thank you for that. I don’t know when I’ll be back to posting, and I definitely don’t know when I’ll be back to writing. I’m just glad that everyone is being patient with me for the most part, it means a lot to me. I appreciate all the support.

I am so sorry for your loss, I know how hard it is to lose a pet. I can only hope that you find eventually peace in her absence.

Thank you, I’m trying to, I just wasn’t ready for her to be gone yet, so I think it’s going to take me a while to accept it. I’m hoping one day I’ll start feeling better about it all.

Oh man, I’m so sorry. I know it’s not my fault and my sorrys wont help anything. I haven’t peeled in, been on the road awhile. We’re close to Jacksonville now. I’m so sorry about poor Honey, she seemed like the sweetest girl ever. I hope you, your fiancé, and the other pets are okay as well. I understand that maybe you might not wanna keep hearing sorry, but I seriously mean it. It’s not your fault, you were doing everything possible. I’m glad you at least got some time with her before everything. I know this is going to take a toll, but please take care of yourself. It would mean a lot to everybody. You don’t have to do the max, but please remember to eat and drink. Get some sleep. It’ll turn out, I promise. Watch the sunrise, my guy. That always makes me feel a bit better.

Thank you for all of that, I do appreciate it, really. I just wasn’t ready, I honestly thought she was going to survive, so it’s been really hard accepting that she’s gone. It just doesn’t feel real to me yet. I’m having her cremated, and I’ll be getting her ashes in a couple weeks hopefully. She was the sweetest girl in the whole wide world, and she didn’t deserve any of that. I miss her a lot. She lived a long life, just not long enough.

My dog passed away, so I’ve been taking a break from everything.

I’m alive, sorry to worry anyone. My dog passed away a couple days ago after constant reassurance she’d survive. She died in the hospital, not peacefully, not in her sleep, but slowly and painfully. Her internal injuries were too severe. She was in the oxygen chamber, and her heart just gave out. She was in a lot of pain, so everyone’s just been telling me that at least she’s not in pain anymore, but that doesn’t really help. She shouldn’t have ever been in pain. It’s not my fault she was attacked, it’s not my fault she’s gone now, and I’m devastated. I’ve just been taking a break from everything. I’m sorry.

I’m unhappy. I’m scared. I’m stressed. I need to calm down but I have zero coping mechanisms that aren’t detrimental and I need to be in a proper state in case my dog gets worse. I don’t know what the fuck to do.

Honey won’t eat, but she can’t take her pain medication on an empty stomach. I might have to take her back to the vet tomorrow. She’s stopped walking again, she won’t eat, she’s shaking worse, she whimpers if I try to move her, and one of her draining tubes doesn’t seem to be working right. I’m stressing out so bad :(
