Iām Rowan (he/they/it) , some creature who found their way to this app. I tend to hyperfixate on things for extended periods of time. I find myself more focused on specific characters sometimes as opposed to the entire creation (be it a book, game, show, movie, etc.). I primarily do writing, on the rare occasion you may see a drawing. I have so many headcanons thatāll die with me unless asked about them, so feel free to ask about that, or share yours with me!

I once introduced my stepbrother to Outlast Trials and he spent 3 hours on Kill the Snitch on standard difficulty, just to die (for the final time) at the very end of the level like a foot away from the shuttle.
You seem generally positive. not really lately but usually. you still seem to not get along with or agree with some people in the fandom. whatās the worst interaction youāve had with the fandom so far?
Asking me to recall negative interactions while acknowledging that Iām not in a great headspace is an interesting choice, but okay, Iām sure you meant well by it.
I published a fic once (doesnāt really matter which one it was, you might remember if youāve been around for a while) and I got like an absurd amount of hate from it. It started off just in my comment section on ao3, so I disabled comments, then they came to my Tumblr to directly harass me. Blocked multiple people, deleted/didnāt acknowledge multiple asks telling me to kill myself, telling me that Iāve completely ruined the characters and franchise, or telling me to just never write again. I took, like, a week long hiatus after that. I honestly considered not writing anymore, because I was just really upset, and I felt discouraged. Itās crazy how someone being hateful can really just crush your spark for something you enjoy. Then, when I had the audacity to complain about it and be upset, I was told that I was being too sensitive. That itās the internet, that people are allowed to give you really mean unproductive criticism with the grammar of a middle schooler, but Iām not allowed to complain about it hurting my feelings because Iām too whiny. I didnāt even fully express to anyone the extent to which people were harassing me, but it wouldnāt have mattered. Believe it or not, being on the internet doesnāt automatically mean I signed up for people to harass me. People are terribly petty and they donāt care if what they say upsets you, Iām not a real person to them.

Hello :) I'm glad you've enjoyed my more silly ideas I've sent in so far! I love sharing stuff with you and it's nice to have a bit of variety (I tend to lean towards angst often) so thanks :) I had some more smaller ideas within that post-Murkoff concept, and some questions for stuff I'm not totally sure about! I imagine their backyard being mostly impersonal like the rest of the exterior of the house, but I considered maybe Gooseberry has a couple plants or silly lawn decorations, she argues they can't really be seen anyway (they can, but let her have fun) I also thought of Franco having a kiddie pool back there in the summer (he cannot swim, they are not going to a public pool with him he'd cause trouble as soon as a kid splashed him or something) so maybe that's there, too. The small number of neighbors they have definitely get a weird feeling from their house (and from them if they see them) but they're mostly too nervous to actually investigate. Sort of related to that, do you feel like would get questions from people that sort of mess up their lie? Like at least one person had to ask why their "kid" isn't enrolled in school, etc. And do you feel like they'd ever end up seeing people from their past? I haven't figured out like, where they'd end up settling, so I wasn't sure what to do with that idea.
Gooseberry gets to have a few plants, a little garden of sorts, and a handful of small lawn decorations. Plenty of people have things like that, so itās not like itāll draw too much attention. They absolutely put a little kiddie pool out for Franco in the summer, I imagine Coyle likes grilling when itās warm outside, so heās able to keep an eye on Franco. They live pretty out of the way, so they donāt have many people around them, but their few neighbors tend not to bother them, mostly because they make them a bit nervous, also the natural prejudice of the time period. I feel like they made sure to set up stay somewhere that none of them lived before, because they didnāt want to chance running into anyone from their past. Franco still stays constantly paranoid about Salvatore or someone from the mafia finding them, but itās unlikely that ever happens; Iām sure theyād take care of it if it did.
If anyone asks about Franco not being in school, since they pass him off as their child, they usually just say that heās homeschooled on account of his disabilities. The Kress twins are both very smart, so they say that they teach him. Theyāve basically committed to the twins being the grandparents (on Coyleās side of the family) and Franco being Coyleās son, with Gooseberry being Coyleās new wife and Francoās stepmother; she canāt really pass as Francoās biological mother. Gooseberry likes getting to play family, and the twins enjoy being perceived as grandparents. Coyle has someā¦ mixed feelings about it, Franco knows that, and he likes to be a little pest and really play into the family dynamic out in public. Coyle hates playing husband to Gooseberry, so they definitely donāt come across like they have a happy marriage, and Coyleās relationship with his āsonā is questionable at best.
When Franco was born, do you feel like he was examined by doctors or anything given how he looked? I wasn't sure if Salvatore would push for it, maybe wanting to check if there's a chance he'd grow out of it? And obviously his reaction to Franco being born like this was awful, but did his mom react nicer?
Given the time period, disabilities and birth defects werenāt widely understood, so itās unlikely that the doctorās couldāve given Salvatore an answer no matter how much he pushed for one. Salvatore was very distraught, very angry, when Franco was born. He was originally excited to know he was going to have a son, thinking someone would be able to carry on his legacy, but this boy wasnāt anything for him to be proud of, not even something he wanted to call his son. The doctorās didnāt know exactly what was wrong with him, but they did tell Salvatore that it was very unlikely heād grow out of whatever was wrong with him; which isnāt what Salvatore wanted to hear.
Francoās mother didnāt think there was anything wrong with him, if anything, Salvatoreās reaction just made her feel immediately more protective over her baby. She thought he was beautiful, her darling boy, and she loved him. Salvatore didnāt agree, and he was quick to somehow blame her for how their son turned out, insisting that it mustāve been something from her side of the family or that sheād somehow done something to cause Franco to be born like that. There was a point in time where Salvatore had considered having more kids, but he wasnāt about to do that after seeing how Franco turned out. He still didnāt have any kids with his other wives, because he couldnāt help but worry that there was a chance that it was something with his own genetics that caused Franco to be born that way, despite constantly blaming Francoās mother.

I like a lot of different artists, and I also have a lot of mutuals who are very good at drawing them! I donāt have a favorite really, and sometimes I also just find really neat art of them while scrolling.
I once told a guy that I was dyslexic, and he went āHell yeah,ā and fist bumped me. I still periodically think about this interaction, and I still donāt understand it.
