I haven't been the most active person on here and have constantly tried to come of as a sweet, understanding person, but seeing people's responses to the percy hynes white situation disgusts me. whether or not the allegations are true the way you all jumped to trying to discredit his alleged victims and paint him instead as the victim is very telling that you don't really care about the truth, just protecting a celebrity you like. when women come out and say someone either sa'd them, harrased them, or was complicit in this the first instinct should never be to find holes in the story. people do lie and yes some things may appear not to add up, but i urge people to remember that not only do we never know how we would react until it happens to us, we also can't forget these aren't the only negative things being said about percy. talks of him saying slurs, following racist, white supremacist, and n*zi content can't be overlooked. of course do your own research, but when things come out people need to be able to look fairly at the complexities of situation instead of picking the side of your newest celebrity crush. maybe I am screaming into a void of people who will attack me for saying this, but the way y'all immediately tried to prove a side rather than observe all ongoings, since a lot of you gloss over the allegations of his racism, is not okay. instead of attacking his seeming victims try investigating, ask questions in a non aggressive way, try to clarify what seem to be inconsistencies, responses can be very telling. such as a response or being blocked, but my god if I see another post saying Percy is the victim and completely discounting these girls and all implications of his racist behavior I'll scream.
