;; like how the early main story can be interpreted as one sided resentment and one sided avoidance for the two of them before evolving into unconditional support for each other. because haruka has everything airi wanted from idol work. to be on a stage and respected for her talent. yet she threw it away without warning. it's the same reason she was frustrated with shizuku's thoughts on retiring. don't abandon what someone else wants right in front of them. but understands her situation of feeling unable to do anything else. her resentment turns to sympathy. haruka still comes up to the rooftop. she watches from afar. she wants to stay within her own bubble. yet in the end, the other's force themselves there. and she accepts it. she stops avoiding help.

;; haruka is the bane of airi's existence in sucha different way to shizuku and minori. because haruka knows how to tease her. but they trust each other so much. both with work and personal issues.

;; there's (several) themes between haruka, shizuku and airi but one that is most notable in haruka and airi, is the idea of growing up too fast / being mature. idk how to word it. haruka basically set her eyes on idol work since she was a very young kid. even before that she is explicitly stated to have had trouble making friends and preferring to read. airi was also exposed to idoling as a young kid and also set her eyes on it. she had to learn how to interact with tv presenters, guests, audiences, all from about 14 or 15. she had to do that while dealing with trying to make her own wishes heard, school work, trying to attend her own group's performances, trying to maintain her friendships and probably more. which is a lot of stress for anyone, let alone a 14/15 year old.

;; both end up misunderstood because of their own issues communicating with others and resistance to change. haruka is the last one to be convinced of ideas in most mmj events because she believes in other methods. she tends to come off as rude about it, whether intentionally or not is up to interpretation. airi has lashed out at people because of her own resentment and anger, because of a misunderstanding from her.

;; there's a reason their only cover together is about struggling to accept help and pushing others away. it's what they're best at.
