How I missed you

I’m so happy we got to see Kai and experience it again and being da fish!

Deadzone was a crazy setting but in the little cutscene beginning and in how Kai acts and how she spoke of Ic was so fun to see

Just the growth that people have had- literally and physically that we got to hear

Whatever multiverse shit is going on with the Ocie versions is also really interesting- I have so many thoughts and wonders why it’s happening-

WE’RE SO BACK!!!!!!

This is a crack theory based off of the trailer and the few interactions with Username: Ra.

I think either the thing Raine Bennet was working on was 3Z-R4 / the game or Raine Bennet is 3Z-R4.

Option one: Working on the game

If the first one is true, I think 3Z-RA was a friend (maybe partner) to Raine and something happened to them and so Raine made a digital backup of their brain, but it didn’t work quite right and they became 3Z-R4 losing their memories and their sense of self - becoming the robot. I think given this, the world of Solace was made for 3Z-R4 as a place for them to be happy and so they didn’t feel trapped in a computer.

I also think in this scenario Raine is Ra/Mothman/Bug and has potentially lost himself to the grief of failing their loved one and that’s why he brings other people and doesn’t want anyone leaving. Raine/3Z-R4 needs companionship and he just keeps trying again and again.

Option Two: Raine = 3Z-R4

If the second option is true and Raine is 3Z-R4. Then, I think Ra is more like Tron, in that he is a computer program, maybe something made by Bennet to run the game he made (the world of Solace) but something corrupted the game, or maybe just Ra, and caused him to start keeping people in the game - make sure the game never ends - this started with Bennet and then grew to anyone who looked into Bennet and then grew again - all to stop 3Z-R4 from leaving the game.

(It could potentially be a work partner but we don't hear anything about Raine working with anyone and there is a friend mentioned in the trailer who has no idea).

But 3Z-R4 was powered off, and was woken up by The Players. Perhaps the reason there’s been a pause for so long - the ‘several years later’ from the trailer - is because the original people taken weren’t complete enough, they all became NPC-like. Even J0S13 is monotone and potentially can’t feel emotions - doesn’t seem to care about anything. These NPCs weren’t able to do enough to keep the world alive and thus keep 3Z-R4 powered on. But now - at least for now - we have new players, with no memory issues that can keep the world alive and keep 3Z-R4 happy.
