bea’s horse art dump

okay so when i was like 13-14 i had a massive hetalia phase like my friends and i got really into it. and i spent ages scrolling on tumblr looking at hetalia art which led to me following a bunch of people and learning their art styles. jump forward 4 years. it’s 2020, and i get a textbook. it’s antony and cleopatra. there’s a piece of art in this textbook with a roman solider, supposedly antony, and what one must assume is cleopatra kissing. but. i recognize the art style. i recognize this specific watermark. in the back of my mind, the cogs are turning. frantically, i pull out my phone and open tumblr, searching desperately for the artist i followed so long ago. and deep within this artists blog i find it. the picture from my textbook. a piece of art of the roman empire and china kissing. i live with the knowledge that a textbook i own has hetalia fanart in it.

no i did not jhdhdjsjsk thank you for letting me know. this is glorious. this is killing me. this has made my bed, fried my sunny side eggs, boiled my tea and watered all my plants. who are these textbook editors browsing my hetalia blog and inflicting helltalia and specifically romechu fanart on students. ah. ‘antony and cleopatra.’ either they didn’t read the caption or didn’t give a fuck because this is meant to be very gay. god rest their souls.
