Twst! Alice

I can't decide either he, Alisson, could be very average in intellect (maybe Adeuce levels) or he has everything to have a quality of genius to rival Riddle but he doesn't care for it as much and often sidetracks to other priorities that seem "more interesting".

Maybe just as Riddle is the downsides of a controlling childhood, Alisson is the downsides of a negligent/too loose childhood. I recall Alice sitting in a tree branch during her history lesson... like, how you even let a child do that during what should be a tutoring session??

Alisson could also be a bit moody and attention-driven. He is the type to cry and get overly frustrated at some (tho at times lowkey valid) inconveniences but he gets up on his feet just as fast, which could make others question the overall depth of his emotions.

Alisson's quality is his curiosity and passion to discover weird things. He leans more into the history of the Innocent Traveler/Adventurer bc of that, getting at odds with Riddle. He feels that the Queen of Hearts is "too stuck on her place", meaning he puts value in traveling, researches and new things.

Alisson's flaw is that he can't keep a long time investment in a lot of things, so he always switches up to the next thing, just like Alice in her journey.

The villainous trait I would assign to him (just as the OB boys have princess/hero's traits) is that he can be quite disrespectful and don't notice/care about it, especially over things that aren't his (mirroring how self-centered the Queen and other characters can be sometimes).

Twst!Nala... or someone else?

I have unfounded expectations for this RSA boy being Pumbaa or Timon but if Twst wants him to be a version of Adult Nala, so be it.

That being said, from his pose, I feel that Nalad (our lad Nala) should be the opposite of Leona. He respect rules and decorum, is very prince-like and shines every which way...

But he does have a past of being a little prick and getting into messes when he was younger, something that Leona knows about him somehow. That could be the fuel to their natural aversion to each other.

Nalad's quality is his commitment with everything that's right or important, most of all responsibilities. He relates to the Proud Lioness the most because of that.

Nalad's flaw is that, if he believes in something, he will dive head first into it and it could be difficult to turn him the other way around, reflecting adult Simba trying to Hakuna Matata his way out of his destiny.

Nalad's villainous trait is that he can be a little sneaky and is prone to lie when it feels like the only solution (much like Scar, especially in his final moments).

Rielle Coralia - Twst!Ariel

We're closer to know more about Rielle but from what I could gather in episode 2 from ch8, he is straight up Ariel at this point.

He's passionate about the surface, he's into collections and while he has that reckless nature, he's trying to prove to his father and family that he's not a kid anymore and can take care of himself... doing precisely things that are very immature and reckless like running away without a notice lol

Maybe the reason they showed us Rielle and Mina together is because they relate to each other just like their princesses. Being a prince can be suffocating, too much praise also means double the expectations for your future to go 200% well and lack of freedom to be normal and doing things off-script.

That being said, Rielle can't help himself but being all over the place with this passion and curiosity taking the drivers seat. Great potential friendship with Alisson, I feel!

Rielle's quality is his devotion to the things he loves and values and will to fight for them, even at the darkest of times. The Mermaid Princess is his personal icon for that, although if going above shore is not as popular like Azul revealed in ch6, that means Ariel must be better regarded by the surface and maybe neutral or "hmmmmmmm she had her heart in the right place but that's not a path for anyone to go on!!" for the Coral Royal Court.

Rielle's flaw is his recklessness and hyperfocus that blurs everything surrounding him. I mean, that's kinda obvious. He just looks like the textbook example of someone who would fall for Azul's schemes despite all the red flags, visible or not.

Rielle's villainous trait could be that he gets unreasonably crazy angry when someone breaks his things. Like, Ariel just cried her eyes out when Triton broke her collection, Ursula tried to murder everyone after Flotsam and Jetsam's deaths.

Minajael Tealrajah - Twst!Jasmine

From what we noticed about Minajael, he's way more intelligent that Jamil gives him credit for and clocks underlying intentions from a mile away. He values freedom above all and seems to be very laid back, although still exuding luxury like his cousin Kalim.

Minajael can be a bit clueless about some real life things, which makes him mad at how out of touch the palace and wealth life can make someone to be. But that doesn't mean he isn't sincere and wise in his beliefs.

Because Jamil watches Kalim up close, he atributes to Mina (not fully without logic) all the over the top treatment that people give to the Asims but I'm inclined to believe that Minajael would notice right way whenever someone is doing something out of genuine care/goodness versus because he's a prince. In short, maybe he really has that 200 points QI lmao

Minajael's quality is his wisdom and how well he reads peoples hearts and intentions. After all Jasmine only trusts Prince Ali when she notices the glimpses of Aladdin beneath him. He holds the Free-Spirited Princess to a high regard because of that too.

Minajael's flaw is that he can let enthusiasm get the best of him at times (how Jasmine delayed Aladdin telling the truth bc she was happy that the Sultan would announce their wedding). It's a trait he complains that Kalim has but... oh boy, that's a glass house right there.

Minajael's villainous trait is taking pride and joy in revealing people's true bad nature, to the point that it can pass the limit of commitment to the truth and go to humiliation, like Jafar in his Prince Ali Reprise.

Neige Le Blanche - Twst!Snow White

Ahhh... Neige.

We have some info on him but all details are very muddled together. If I were to base myself just on the little backstory revealed, Neige gives me the vibes of someone that felt constantly alone even when he was surrounded by people. Would that get better or worse with time? Hmmmm...

Either acting is an outlet for him or is something that got so natural that he doesn't even break a sweat. I know Twst makes him close his eyes a lot as a nod to Snow White but, generally in anime culture, closed eyes are a sign of secrets and someone who doesn't let oneself out too much.

That doesn't mean Neige is insincere. No! He's just so used to being that personification of optimism for the sake of others (and also himself) that this personality is his constant. But he is deep down, very good-hearted and think a lot about others.

His type of character is one that doesn't realize their own worth or, in Vil's point of view, the "easiness" which he "gets" things. Although Vil acknowledges that Neiges puts effort in his work, he's a natural beauty and his vulnerability is more often than not disarming.

Whenever Neige feels he can't go on, he remembers the story of the Selfless Princess and is instantly inspired by her kindness and motherly instincts.

This is a side track but I wonder if, like Vil, Neige wants to be seen in another light, at least once. Not the cliche of "I want people to see me as a mature figure >:(" but sometimes he's curious of how it feels to play the villain. The problem is that he doesn't have the face or the aura for that. He tried to shyly pitch the idea to his agent once and got told that his puppy eyes wouldn't scare even a vulture.

Anyways, Neige's quality is the paternal/maternal influence he has on other people, inspiring safety and warmth in their hearts with ease. He's a comfort beam and a little bean!

As noted by ch5, his flaw is definitely naivety and how quickly he trust others. Like Rielle, Neige is down right blind to red flags and that may cost a lot someday...

I was having a headache trying to fathom a villainous trait from the Evil Queen for Neige to inherit and let me tell you, it was hard.

But my solution is that, since Neige is naturally naive and the story theme is vanity/pride, discovering that someone was fooling him (as the Huntsman fooled the Queen) and that "he was considered dumb enough to fall for it", which implicates he is and his intelligence is been actively underestimated... that would lead to an epic, dramatic crash out. You think you're breaking his heart but you've woke an primordial wrath inside him that even he never knew existed.

Thank goodness this never happened... yet.

Twst!Megara

Right off the bat, Meg is a special case because she is a heroine that was aiding the villain for a good part of the movie. That already puts our Megboy in an interesting position.

Maybe he was supposed to get into NRC but switched to RSA out of his own volution (like, "defying the prophecy" stuff)? That's very out there but I'm not that worried about this as much as the next thing:

Since Megara was in cahoots with Hades, it would be criminal to not allow Megboy to be a gamer in any capacity! No, it would be a Greek tragedy to miss this!!

Megboy needs to be basically the walking embodiment of Idia's worst nightmare: a handsome guy, Mr. Steal Your Girl, definition of cool, is a gamer and knows his stuff. Actually knows. He's not in for the trend, nor for the products. He knows the history, the multiple versions, details, analytics, everything. It boils Idia's blood and bursts his hair out.

He could either be open about this side of him or, what would also align well, he would be an closeted gamer that tries his best to keep the athletic/chill persona but needs to stop himself from making game comparisons every, single, time. "Damn, what a side quest..." "A what?" "I m-mean... I'm glad we found Mr. Thebes' cat!"

The guy is a free spirit, very laid back and whenever people think "cool", his image pops up. His juniors hold him in a heroic position and he attracts looks from all the places wherever he goes.

Megboy has deep relationship wounds but nobody knows that. Nobody even thinks he could be rejected or cheated on, either by a partner or friend. I mean, look at him!! But it's the truth... he can be certainly feel like quite a lone soul in this river. Which makes him have complex feelings about the story of the Solitary Beauty. Could a fate like that find him? Or was he stuck with the worst life contract ever?

Megboy's quality is coming to the rescue, beside any other feeling he has about the situation. The good ol' reliable "either I like it or not, it's the right thing to do".

Megboy's flaw is that he's too cynical of things and their true nature. It's a sour change after being too much of a romantic and giver for a lot of years, before the tragedy of betrayal. He regards his colleagues well but deep down, his superiority in viewing their niceness/naivety with disdain is masking his jealousy in wanting to feel like that again and actually move on.

Not a flaw but I remembered that from looking at Megara's wiki but she's afraid of heights! Now I desperately need to see this guy's flying lessons!

Megboy's villainous trait is that he can be quite the control freak if the opportunity presents itself. Because he feels like always getting the short end of the stick (which most people don't even dream to be possible), he tries with all his might to come out on top in every situation and will not rest until he gets what he wants.

Twst!Fairies

I'm place huge bets that the Twst!Fairies is going to be specifically based on Merryweather, so I'll be taking her as main inspo for Merrylad here.

Since Lilia's story is closer to the og Fairies (and he lives in their literal house equivalent), it would be interesting to know how Merrylad lives and if there's the possibility that he comes from a wealthy family in the diurnal fae circle (despite Maleficent roasting their supposed low status in her eyes, they were invited to the christening for a reason).

There's no way Merrylad doesn't dislike Malleus. Just a bit. He's neutral to Lilia, Sebek's family and others but he just not vibe with Malleus. Now it would be hilarious if they're the only NRC-RSA duo that the rivalry is one-sided in Merrylad's case. Not that Malleus doesn't care for him, he could be very amused and honestly fascinated by the thought that someone of his species, technically his own subject, wants to overpower him... and maybe Merrylad has somewhat the capacity but now is very bitter that Malleus got nerfed beforehand. That puts a pause of 200 years on their fight.

Good opportunity to bring the differences between diurnal and noctural fae, be it in nature or in life philosophy. Also to expand on who were the 3 diurnal fairies that aided the Knight of Dawn? Like, how? I feel it was him, specifically, not the whole army. But if so, why? What's their story? Could Merrylad be a descendant of them? Was everything that happened part of a much bigger plan (that could involve Lavern or Crowley, independent of them being the same or different people)?????

Okay, okay, back to the boy. He hates that pink in the dorm's color. Probably isn't very fond of using his dorm clothes, unless very, very necessary. And even so, he would still have an excuse to use the normal blue uniform!

Tea and cookies are the peak of his day. His cooking skills are mid but somewhat acceptable for non-magic usage standards. He got challenged one day to do things without magic and despite it being really hard, he has the guts to say "huh bet" and survive the ordeal.

Merrylad is very blunt by nature but will defend others against rude people or bullies. Hates some royals and even senators attitudes for what they call "the rabble" and that's why he's put on a tight leash by his family when going to cerimonial dinners in Briar Family.

His own colleagues get surprised by this side of him, since he has the same aura that Lilia and Malleus have of being OP. Besides Malleus, Merrylad doesn't find the need to compete with others. He just want to be left to his own thoughts and not be bothered by crazy shenanigans.

Merrylad's quality is that, against all odds, he has a romantic and hopeful streak in his heart and will stop at nothing to aid people get their deserved happiness. Doesn't mean doing the thing for them but helping out when needed. He feels the most connected to the hope of the Pure Princess's stories.

Merrylad's flaw is that he's a little hot headed and his aforementioned bluntness can lead to trouble.

Merrylad's villainous trait is that he has 0 tolerance to dumb people, or even the slightest showcase of failing to do basic tasks. He storms off the place like Maleficent on her goons if someone fails at common sense.

Anyway, it was so fun to think of problems for them. I know the normal hc is for RSA to be this heaven on Earth for mental health and I'm sure it is 98% of the time but what if they have some little things that they'll need to work on?

His tsundere-ness is cute 🥰 I don't always like tsunderes because a lot of them are written as nothing but defensiveness and aggression, which ends up feeling emotionally immature and kind of obnoxious. But Jack has exactly the right amount of it. He tries so hard to act like he doesn't care, but he keeps losing the idgaf war epically. There's just something about a huge, physically imposing guy with a deep voice suddenly getting all shy and flustered........so charming....

On top of that, basically all of his wolf/beastman traits!! I've always loved wolves and found their behavior fascinating. I will never not love beastmen/kemonomimi characters because I'm lowkey furry but what makes them especially interesting to me is seeing how their biology and instincts affect their daily lives. Example, Jack himself says he can sniff out scents across an entire mountain and run for hours without getting tired.

And oOUGUH THE BODY LANGUAGE… his tail wagging when he's happy will never not get me 🥰🥰 And his ears!!! The Live2D sprites are pretty limited, but we can see his ears flatten in his surprised sprite, which implies they probably do all the things real canid ears do—flicking, rotating, flattening, reacting to emotions, etc. I love animal ear body language especially when they flatten completely and go airplane mode.... ooouugh very cute…

He is a rule follower, yes. But he's also not afraid to rebel against authority the moment he feels something is unethical or goes against his principles. He refuses to be peer pressured into passively accepting injustice. He stands up against it ON HIS OWN, even when it means facing severe scrutiny, exclusion, or criticism from the people around him. That takes a kind of bravery very few people actually have. If more people had the courage to stand their ground against injustice instead of quietly participating out of fear, I genuinely think the world would be a better place. And rebelling against authority is sexy as hell

A very underrated trait of his is his emotional maturity. Obviously he's not the pinnacle of maturity - none of the first years are - but he's consistently willing to reflect on his mistakes and become a better person (very rare trait among the twst cast). A good example is his lab coat vignette in which he accidentally throws away Jade's mushroom log because he thinks it's rotten trash. When confronted, he doesn't make excuses or deflects the blame, he apologizes properly and finds a way to make up for what he did (all while HATING octa's ass and knowing full well they're putting on a show). This is big when you consider Jack absolutely has the NRC pride and stubbornness that most of the cast has, but he's self-aware enough to know when he is in the wrong and put that pride aside. By the way super biased opinion but this is why I heavily associate him with the beast from beauty and the beast,,,, finding you can change, learning you were wrong 🥹

A FAMILY MAN. HE TALKS ABOUT HIS FAMILY SO FONDLY ALL THE TIME. He's mentioned his younger siblings so many times already (I can think of at least four examples off the top of my head), and every single time it reminds me that he's actually an older brother... I think because he's constantly treated like the baby of Savanaclaw it's easy to forget that he has little siblings looking up to him. Taking them on adventures, teaching them things, making a flower crown (tried, but failed to) for his little sister… he's genuinely such a good big bro...

I saved the best for last BECAUSE THE WAY HE TALKS ABOUT ROMANTIC LOVE???? HE WANTS TO FOLLOW HIS PARENTS' AND GRANDPARENTS EXAMPLE, FIND ONE PERSON, MARRY THEM, AND STAY BY THEIR SIDE FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE hE TALKS ABOUT LOVE WITH SO MUCH SINCERITY AND TENDERNESS TOO BC TO HIM FINDING A LIFE PARTNER IS GENUINELY ONE OF HIS MAJOR GOALS IN LIFE AND EVEN THE OTHER FIRST YEARS POINT OUT IS THINKING ABOUT MARRIAGE BEFORE HES EVEN THINKING ABOUT GETTING A JOB HES SO ROMANTIC ITS INSANE AND HE LITERALLY ADMITS HE DOESNT CARE ABOUT BEING POPULAR BC HES SAVING HIMSELF FOR THE ONE WHEN THE TIME COMES HES OUT HERE PLANNIGN FOR A LIFE LONG COMMITMENT ON HIS FIRST DATE WHAT HTE HELLLHLKLKLKKLFKLDKLGD
