Ace and Ortho Menaces in the First Year Friend Group
Ace and Ortho share an incredible synergy when it comes to being menaces to people around them. there's something about them being younger bothers that makes them immediately pick up on people's embarrassment and pride and make fun of them . the usual subjects of teasing are Sebek and Jack.

In Fairy Gala Remix Ace invites Deuce and Epel to help brainstorm runway ideas with Ortho. but Jack and Sebek show up and try to be nonchalant and still stay overnight for the ramshackle sleepover. like who are you fooling.
Book 7 & 7.5
Then for the Mickey Investigation Ace and Ortho fully tag-team Jack and Sebek. they both make fun of Jacks 10 pm curfew and make sure he knows he’s in this plan whether he acknowledges it or not.
then for Sebek they are just on his ass constantly in book 7.5-8. Sebek talks big about not joining the mickey investigation but immediately folds when Malleus joins the investigation. of course Ortho and Ace make fun of him and say they don’t need him anymore so he can go grind out some homework.
once again i can't help but appreciate the smaller internal dynamics within the first years friend group. these individual relationships really make the entire first years friend group come alive
Ace and Ortho's synergy sorta reminds me of this fic about Ortho wondering if OG!Ortho's personality was similar to Ace's.
I genuinely love their interactions, especially in the Fairy Gala Remix where Ace attempts to help Ortho with his dilemma!!! The bounce off each other very well and just fun to see interaction(twst give us more first-years hanging out 🙏🙏)
