Here’s some fun science that disproves anyone who thinks children can consent/for those who want the age of consent to be lowered:

Children cannot consent. At all. They BIOLOGICALLY cannot consent.

Why is this?

Well, the “judgement & decision making” part of your brain, AKA the PREFRONTAL CORTEX, is not fully developed until your 20s!

This part of the brain develops skills that allow an individual to pause long enough to understand a situation, assess his or her options, plan a course of action, and then execute it.

(TL;DR, it lets you decide if you want to do something or not)

This is why toddlers write on walls with sharpie and why teenagers sneak out, party, and get drunk!

Their brain hasn’t developed enough to let them pause and understand if what they’re doing is a good idea or not.

They’re irresponsible bc the responsible part of their brain hasn’t developed yet.

If you can’t trust a toddler to not write on the walls with sharpie, how could you ever trust a toddler to consent to a sexual act?

so i already pointed this ⬆️ out in one of my drawings, but i do want to elaborate

because not only Felix shows ZERO interest in Verona's women

i also find it really interesting how much the contrast between his and Franz's reactions to them is emphasized, like genuinely this cannot be unintentional, i highly doubt this is just a gag because this apathetic behaviour Felix has towards anything romantic/sexual IS consistent

to me it looks like Felix doesn't sexualise nudity and that's why he misinterprets what Franz means, he genuinely doesn't think about anything in this situation as sexual/inappropriate IN ANY WAY
