"One time a piano student asked me: 'Why play the piano if these days my tablet or smartphone can do it automatically better than me?'
He then showed me several apps that played music using scores.
I explained to him: 'Your cell phone always plays that Debussy score in exactly the same way. You, on the other hand, with your emotions and flaws, will never play the score the same way twice. You will not play the same way on a sunny day when you have just fallen in love as on a cloudy day when a relative has just died. Music is not just a score - you too are part of the music. Art includes you in the experience; your human imperfections are also part of the work.'"

We have been getting thunderstorms everyday but I don’t think weather did this. I think this was a Hotdog Related Incident (HRI).

As I was driving back from dropping my babysister off at Puppycamp I had to throw the Element in park and get out of the car and wave my arms to get a kitten to move out of the middle of the road. I deem them Dumbass Hotdog.

(Yoinked this from LinkedIn, genuinely interested in seeing how responses align with demographics) (so far it’s those of us over 35 being indignant but I wanna see how those fully plays out) (it’s cultural and technological history/memory, bruh)

I love a woman with a loud ass laugh. I love a cackle. I love a guffaw. Love when a bitch laughs so hard it scares the dog. Be unapologetic in your joy.

(One of the) Smoky Hotdog(s) prowled all around me as I was putting together the last two raised beds (just for this season I’ll need MORE). Faf was napping inside and didn’t come out to Sun until Smoky was long gone and I was done putting the beds together.
I want to make a cattle panel archway because everyone else has one but I’m not sure if I have enough room where I was thinking about putting it. So I’m gonna carry them around for a few days or months.
