Many animals have unusual hunting methods, but the marsh mongoose's might be one of the strangest. To catch birds, adults will sometimes lie on their back as if sunbathing. This exposes their bright pink anus, and curious birds are drawn to peck at it. The mongoose then explodes into action, pouncing on the bird.

I had a long list of stuff I was going to get done around the house since I’m not on the indie bookstore tour but I’ve really been focusing on creating and expelling mucus.

And listening to an audio book.

My dad went in my place, with Murble, on the indie book bus tour. I will likely get more books out of it than if I went myself but I was gonna get to go to a bookstore in an old bank and to Pella (tulips and used books) and another town with another cool bookstore.

Honestly I’m tired just thinking about it. I am definitely still sick.
