I've seen people talk about it before on here, about how eliot is good at virtually everything and that would be tired really quick if not for the fact that he doesn't show off about it (for the most part) and VEHEMENTLY does not want to be famous or acknowledged for those skills. he very much wants to stay under the radar, which is why it is funnier and a better running gag that he keeps getting famous against his will

"But I wanted to try again!" the devil whines, stomping his foot like a petulant child. Your spouse, Johnny, just laughs.

"I think I'm going to spare you this time. I won't challenge you again, I beat you enough the first time."

"What is happening?!" you ask, confused out of your mind. Here was your spouse, a normally kind person, laughing at the fucking devil.

"Don't worry, love. My old friend here just thinks he's better on the fiddle than I am." Seeing your confused look, Johnny elaborated a little. "He challenged me to a fiddle-battle when I was still living down in Georgia. I won, of course, and it seems that he still can't accept it."
