Luck pushed me first

la'an noonien-singh is actually a star trek legend. She's kissed both kirk and spock (and gotten the latter to dance a salsa in public). She's punched a dinosaur on the face so hard she broke her hand. She's hidden in her room to sing a sappy power ballad. She's tried to take over the known universe because she was scared. She's obsessed with a detective from a series of novels that are probably aimed at tweenage girls and put on a fake american accent to portray her on the holodeck. She also fucked spock while still wearing the hot leather cowgirl outfit, lbr. She also ran James Kirk through with an eight inch knife and smiled like a demon while doing it. She's probably going to become a muppet soon.

I didn't expect The Mighty Nein to get me this attached. It's the first time I've ever tried drawing my favorite character, so... please be kind. :)

Written for the Starfleet Academy fic exchange, for @codenamecarrotcake’s awesome prompt (for one with whales). I had a blast writing Darem & Tarima and aiming for a bit of a mystical whales vibe.

when deciding on hairstyles, maybe both? have it be a cultural division of different groups having different aesthetics. you can’t have a war with only one cultural group, and the pre-Surak Vulcans were very into wars. I love these designs.

One of the greatest things that the Enterprise episode Carbon Creek offers is that Vulcans have always been Like This. From the very first Vulcans who stepped foot on Earth, most of them are utterly indifferent to humans, but there's that one guy who's like, "What are you guys talking about? Humans are GREAT. They're super interesting and I am going to pose this as an intellectual fascination, but let's be real, I just think they're neat."
