Animal agriculture is inherently abusive. Thinking of animals as commodities to be produced for the lowest cost possible and sold for the maximum profit possible is inherently abusive. This should not be a difficult concept to grasp.

your twenties are not "late" to start hrt. that is a normal time to start hrt. your thirties are also a normal time to start hrt. your seventies are pretty late to start hrt, but not too late. like, statistically, that's at the end of the curve. but if you are not dead, it is not too late for hrt.

And while there are interesting things made for children, by and large, they tend to stick to inoffensive, intensely juvenile things that won't challenge them much. And worst of all, if you suggest to your Average American that they should try to step outside of their narrow box, especially if they're trying to become artists, animators, film makers, novelists, etc, everyone acts as if you've just bombed the daycare. Wow.

if there is genuinely one thing i can offer as advice to trans people its to start lying to medical systems about being cis. they can and will misgender you forever. even if you're signing dummy waivers thst youre not pregnant before an xray its worth it 10,000%. Unless you're seeing someone who needs to know like an endocrinologist or urinary tract or gynecologist. Lie lie lie. you'll eventually need to do cancer screenings but cross that bridge when you get to it.
