You're sure of that, if nothing else. Drifting in and out of consciousness for the past few hours, spending what energy you have left to focus in on every small sound coming from outside.

Habit isn't predictable. Ever. His gait changes constantly as he adapts to his new body- your boyfriend's body- which he stole from you as unceremoniously as he does everything else. His footwear depends on what is closest when he wakes up, so the sound of it is unreliable. But there's at least one noise you can depend on. The final step of his routine, when he puts his weapons back on the table. That's when you'd try to escape.

There isn't a sound left in the house as you slowly move off your bed, your ankle successfully contorted out of its bedpost cuff long, long ago. It's a slow press of your bare foot against frigid hardwood that almost makes you cry. You can get out of here.

Your heart is throbbing, heavy and boiling hot in your ears. The cold of the winter is already biting around the burning fear in your chest, and settling in your fingertips just enough to make them shaky. Your fingers latch onto the stale, dusty underside of your window pane. A firm, rigid tug upwards-

Nothing.

You steel yourself to throw up, but it doesn't come. Of course it wouldn't open- he's not stupid enough to leave a window unlocked. You're going to have to try the back door.

Living with Habit has never been pleasant. A momentary faux-softness could creep into his hands every so often, but at the end of the day? You were still chained up in what was once a room you had once looked forward to going to. Coming home to Evan cooking dinner after a shift- laying down in a bed he once set up with you after spending an hour loitering in a mattress shop.

You'd come together as close as your bodies can bring you, under the guise of warmth for no reason but childish fun. Heads pressed together at the sides, hand in hand- a reverent kiss to your knuckles. The way his hand would smooth over your cheek, never sick no matter how much he stared at you.

You try not to dwell on old luxuries. You have Vinny to thank for their passing.

You try to softly drag your aching feet against the hardwood. There's a soft sticky noise every time your bare skin lifts off the ground. Be quiet. Be still. Be as quiet as a mouse. Be a good rabbit.

The feeling of the round metal doorknob sends another rush of bile up your throat. It could creak. Your hand could flutter, and it could make the door rattle, and-

You're standing in the hall. From what you can vaguely see, it's the same as you left it. The same decorations you and Evan picked up. The same puzzle boxes in the hall table. You know how to get out. You know this.

Your muscle memory does the work for you to get to the front door. It's pitch black, but the moonlight does a little to help. A sliver of light past the trees outside. You're so caught up in the thrill of fidgeting with the deadbolt on the door, you don't hear him following you. You don't hear him when he pounces.

A weak attempt to kick up at his crotch sends you crashing to the ground, a groan ripping up out of your throat involuntarily. The noise is cut short by Habit's knee on your back, the air being forced out of your lungs. Thanks, Vinny.

"You've got guts. Lotsa guts, really, trying to run from me." His hand roots deep in your hair, tugging your head up and slightly relieving pressure on your spine and ribs. "But'cha didn't think about one thing." He hums, crushing his knee down on your lower back. He's waiting on something. Right.

"What-" A cough. More blood in your mouth. "Habit, what did I not think about?" It sounds so pathetic. So placating and meek. Probably why he likes it.

He drops your head back on the ground, crushing your nose into it for a moment before really letting up on it. His hands roughly tug yours behind your back, pressing them down uncomfortably high.

"I'm not fucking stupid."

Zipties tug closed around your wrists- tight enough to draw blood later- and he's dragging you by your legs. Kicking, thrashing- why do you try?

He hauls you up onto his shoulder before throwing you back down on the bed, using the distraction of the throw to leverage himself over you. Knife pressed to the soft pudge of your belly. A good slice away from being disembowled with Habit's legs slotting over yours, hands ziptied behind your back- a calloused hand squeezing roughly on your cheeks.

"What were you thinking?" He coos, rattling your head side to side. "Come on. Tell me what you were trying to do back there."

It's hard to stem the tears as they spill, his body warming yours, despite the cold situation you're in. You can't stop yourself from just talking.

"I was- I just wanted to go home, that's all!" You whine, stomach tensing under his blade, the dull side tracing lazy shapes into your hip bone. Your response gives him something adjacent to a laugh- the closest you've ever pulled from him.

"Home? You wanted to go homee?" He whines, pouting his lips in a cheap mockery of how yours look, cheeks forced together by his tight grip. "What am I, chopped liver? You don't have anything left, bunny. I made sure of that." His knife gives a less than gentle jab into your stomach, drawing a thin white line before the blood spills.

His hand readjusts as you whine, a little softer.

"Where were you gonna go?"

"I- I don't kn- knoww-"

A hiccup.

"That's right. Why not? Why don't you know, huh?"

A gentle slap.

"Because I took it all away. Didn't I? No home left to run on back to?" He pouts, pressing a soft kiss against your cheek in some mock intimacy.

"No friends.. no lease. No money." He sighs, letting up on your face, folding the knife back up. He doesn't stand.

"You would've had to run back to me anyways." His voice is a soft growl. Something that slips into the back of your skull. "I would've caught you, or you would've realized how lost you are out of your little cage. Two days tops, either way."

His hand runs through your hair. Not tugging. Rooting around, yes. It's nearly gentle.

"What do you say now? Habit, I..?" He motions for you to continue.

"Habit, I'm ssorry." The words taste almost bitter.

"And?"

"And I won't do it again."

"Thaat's right." Habit ruffles your hair, flipping you onto your stomach to cut the ties off. "You'll be fine without these tonight. Think you learned your lesson."

Jason Vorhees

He thinks you’re dying. His mother did not bother to teach him a single thing about periods and, as far as he knows, blood means injury. Every month, no matter how much you insist you’re okay, he’s doting over you like it’s your last day on earth. Very grateful when it ends.

Yes, he will bring you anything you want or need. He will ransack the camp grounds for any medicine. He will hike several miles to the nearest gas station if you ask for a chocolate bar. He will personally hold your head up so you can drink water without moving. Please tell him he’s doing a good job.

He’s also the only slasher on here that won’t have sex with you at all while you’re bleeding. He gets really flustered about sex in the first place, but doing it while you’re “injured” is totally unacceptable in his mind. Your undead gentleman.

Bubba Sawyer

He’s the second, but not last, slasher on this list to not know what a period is. Drayton is the only one in the family who has an inkling of an idea what you’re going through, but why would he ever bother to have that conversation with his brothers?

Like Jason, he assumes you’re hurt. Unlike Jason, he’s not too shy to investigate. The first time he sees a little blood on your thigh while you’re sleeping, he panics and fully rips off your underwear to see what happened. Once you calm him down and assure him that everything is okay, he cries tears of joy.

He will bring you cups of water and put his large, warm hands on your lower stomach to ease your cramps. He could easily spend the whole day cuddling you into relaxation (before getting yelled at for not doing his chores). Also, I don’t see his bed having any sheets, just bare mattress. So those stains are never coming out.

If you want painkillers, you’ll have to ask Drayton, who buys them for you once you mention it’s a female thing. Small note, but if the twins ever catch wind of your cycle, they’ll cause you literal hell with teasing. This whole family is very repressed.

Otis Driftwood

An asshole. He’s such an asshole. In general, but especially when you’re on your period. He’ll make you beg for a Tylenol, complain about the prices of your pads/tampons, and insist that you don’t get “too bitchy” with him just because you’re bleeding. He just likes riling you up.

Doesn’t hide his very obvious blood kink. I’m not gonna make this overly smutty, but he makes sure that his hands, face, and crotch are all thoroughly red at one point during your cycle. And he doesn’t bother showering until the next morning either.

Baby is a little kinder about it. She’s still teases, but there’s a lot more love in her tone. If you guys ever sync up, Otis makes a huge fucking deal over “having to deal” with both of you.

Billy Lenz

Only half-knows what a period is. He thought that women lose all their blood at once a month then continue as normal. Is very disturbed when you inform him that it lasts multiple days.

He thinks your pain is a little funny. He’ll giggle at your groans and poke you in the stomach just to bug you. But he’s not totally heartless, he’ll still reheat your pad and give you back massages. And sloppy makeouts. He’ll never pass up the opportunity to makeout with you.

Doesn’t stop being a little pervert though. Loves the smell of blood coming off of you. Insists that he needs to eat you out to heal your pain. Will jerk off over the used pads that you leave in the bathroom trash can.

Brahms Heelshire

So we all know that Brahms was never taught a single thing about female anatomy. However, he did relentlessly stalk you within his own house before you guys ever officially met. I think it’s possible that he saw you getting and dealing with your period through the bathroom walls at some point and he was just like Oh. Okay.

Might’ve pulled a Billy and been weird with your used pads don’t judge him okay

Being totally obsessed with you, he doesn’t mind your blood all the much. Whether it’s on his sheets, clothes, or skin. He doesn’t care as long as you’re with him. He might be able to sense that you’re a little more irritable than usual, so he tries to be an extra extra good boy for you.

He also has a habit of copying you and it doesn’t stop on your period. When you take a painkiller, he wants to take one too. When you eat chocolate, he eats chocolate. When you nap, he wraps his limbs around you and listens to your breathing until you wake up.
