We are a plural system and this is our ship blog for posting about our beloved characters, headmate pairings and other cute shippy stuff 💙

This is intended to be a safe-space for all. We are strictly pro-ship, pro-para, pro-endo, etc. and our stances are not up for debate. If you are pro-harassment in any way, block us, or we will block you. We also block those who claim to be the "#1 fan" or "[character's] only true love" because we are not comfortable around folks who make claims in an attempt to invalidate other's ships. Doubles are free to interact!

Despite that, know that our ships are very important to our well-being serving as a way for us to explore intimacy in a safe & controlled environment. Everything about this is considered healthy to us - it helps us manage our mental health issues and allow us to feel security that no human could ever provide, so we may become uncomfortable with seeing certain ships containing our favorite characters and block the tags/blogs dedicated to them - no hard feelings though. We have autism, schizoid, some form of OCD, and some other stuff. We are also in our mid-twenties bodily.

We generally avoid using the term "yumeship" personally because it was created for female selfshippers and we are transmasc, as well as due to the way it has been popularized and watered down over the years and we are more comfortable with the term selfship.

I can look at his dark past and tell him that it's nothing compared to the man that stands in front of me today. I can help give him food when he struggles to eat. Draw him his baths when the effort feels too great. Help him get sleep when he insists on staying up. I can't fix him. He doesn't need fixing. I can't make him worse. Because nothing would ever make him worse to me. I can simply be, and in doing so, let him know he's worth being there for.

Hope, it’s a funny word. It’s a belief in something even when it seems impossible.

I enjoyed spending time making this hypothetical, the pixel art, the drawings. It was all something made with hope strewn and plucked into it. I hope that Rouxls Kaard gets a top hat at some point, and I hope that weatherkaard gets another chance.

Do I truly think these would really happen? No, no I don’t.

But at least there was a time where I had hope.

With Chapter Five coming soon I must wrap this up and wait for whats next to come.

I can’t wait to see what new adventure awaits. Even if none of my favorite characters show up.

I wonder how serious other people view their selfships. I know that I personally describe how I feel as semi-serious.

Basically, what I mean by that is that I do view these characters as my partners. However, I do recognize that they are fictional and thus can not love me back truly. They bring me comfort and an out lit to explore emotions I don't typically get to feel (such as romantic love). I also do this for fun! I find selfshipping very, very fun.

We view our selfships as very serious and also real. We use the term NF/O (non-fictional other) because as a system we often introject or soulbond with our favorite characters so they can communicate with us via some way like mentally or spiritually and it just ends up feeling very real to the shipper. We don't do it for fun but like genuinely we'd probably be dead if it weren't for them looking out for us and being there to comfort. At the same time we had to learn that not just exclusively "fictional" characters can do this, the brain-made headmates and IRL people can too C:

Honestly though, still feels like we can only safely explore our emotions in a fictional/internal setting. And a lot of us are just fine the way we are like that.
