Marselen, will you fetch some for me? I need oil as well, for the pyre. Who will help me burn the dead?"

By the time Aggo returned with Grey Worm and fifty of the Unsullied loping behind his horse, Dany had shamed all of them into helping her. Symon Stripeback and his men were pulling the living from the dead and stacking up the corpses, while Jhogo and Rakharo and their Dothraki helped those who could still walk toward the shore to bathe and wash their clothes. Aggo stared at them as if they had all gone mad, but Grey Worm knelt beside the queen and said, "This one would be of help."

Before midday a dozen fires were burning. Columns of greasy black smoke rose up to stain a merciless blue sky. Dany's riding clothes were stained and sooty as she stepped back from the pyres.  (Daenerys VI, ADWD)

This whole scene where Dany visits the Astapori refugees to deliver food, bathes an old man herself, helps to burn the dead and even inspires her followers to join in often gets overlooked, but I think it really highlights the lengths she goes to care for her people. It would be amazing if you could draw it at some point, but no worries if it’s not possible. Thank you for sharing your gorgeous art with us!!! <3

YES ABSOLUTELY!!! This is one of my top favorite Dany scenes as well, and I'll definitely add it to my list of works!! I have so many key moments that I want to draw that display her unyielding and defiant compassion and love. I can't say when or in which order, but I can promise I have a lot of Dany pieces in the works and I'll keep them coming as long as y'all will have them <3

I am trying to learn how to draw, and your art inspires me to achieve that goal. I was curious about how you learned to draw and if you have any tips for how to start out? Even small tips would be so helpful if you don't mind!

Tysm!!! It's really flattering to be considered an inspiration 😭❤️ I'm self-taught like most people – videos and books alike. Honestly, I highly recommend focusing on studying values and volumes, in grayscale at first, so colors don't overwhelm you (something I'm still learning myself). Understanding and practicing how light and simple shapes work in a 3D space, instead of seeing everything as lines, is what will build you the foundation for everything else.

what software do you use?? and what kind of brushes?? I'm just a beginner but i want to use your art as reference for art studies that's why

I use Clip Studio Paint and a Huion pen tablet! I mix and try new materials often, but I have a preference for square textured brushes. Currently I use these most often:

Dave Greco's brushes

Esben Lash's Leyendecker pack

Devin Elle's rake brushes for a few final touches

But of course you can find many great ones for free (I like Ahmed Aldoori's). For sketching I use CSP's default Design Pencil, or this one from the CSP assets. I don't really do lineart, and I merge layers as I go - I find it easier to change and add stuff this way.
