I have a ton of requests, but Iâm always afraid to send them to literally any author because so many people are stressed these days and Iâm too shy to ask about their inbox every time-
Oh nooo anon!
I know a lot of authors can be burnt out by a lot of requests, but I can also tell you that me (and a lot of my writing buddies) do genuinely enjoy having interaction with the communities we write for! It's always nice to know that people are reading your works, and then actively getting ideas and wanting us to expand upon them because of it!
I'm not too sure if this is a helpful tip, but I know some writers tend to close their inbox/close requests if they want to take a break, or catch up on old requests. There's usually a thing in the pinned post/information post that says if they're closed or open.

To be fair, darling was just isekai-ed to Genshin. Only way to figure out if it's a dream or not is to.... lick a tree?
Honestly I don't have too many thoughts on them reacting to it. I mean, you're their god. They can't really judge you on anything unless they want to be considered blasphemers. (Is that the right word?)
Zhongli feels like the kind of person who ate a rock when he was a younger archon because I mean. If you want to be the Geo Archon you gotta know what a rock tastes like.
Ei's just straight up weirded out. She's super unused to what people do when they aren't hanging out in the Plane of Euthymia for hundreds of years upholding eternity. She might assume it's a normal thing to do and therefore gets weird looks when she asks other people about it. Who knows, maybe people do lick trees normally.
Venti.... man he's just enjoying it. The looks on everyone else's faces as you go to do it again just to confirm and everyone rushes to stop you, and he's sitting the back drinking and enjoying the chaos. He might get in on the action just because he wants to cause even more. Archon of Freedom, so I mean. This is exactly what freedom's about - doing whatever the hell you want without being restricted.

Let's go off the assumption it's like. The Windrise tree. It's partially sentient (kind of??? manga is pretty vague about everything and I haven't even read the entire thing).

Expanding upon the anti Fatui! darling, may I request a few headcanons in relation to how the Harbingers and Diluc would react? I just think it would be neat to see.
Diluc's got pretty strong principles, right? We've seen how he's pretty strict in terms of how he takes care of things, and he's got a pretty tried and true method in most things.
He's indebted to the Creator - they were the one thing keeping him going when he was ready to collapse from grief after the day that everything fell apart - and swore to serve them with his life.
So when he hears that there's an imposter running around disgracing the Creator's name with the antics, he's probably the first to grab his claymore and set off tracking them down. He doesn't trust in the Knights of Favonius for this, especially with how they've proved themselves... less than capable with other events.
He's canonically been banned from Schneznaya because of his murder spree there, so if the darling was wise and went there, he'd be a little more cautious in following.
In fact, this only makes him hate them more - the Fatui have been a constant staple of bad in his life, so he assumes that if the darling goes to them, they're definitely the imposter - after all, his beloved creator would never go to scum like them.
However, anti Fatui!Darling chooses to spite them and leave, even at the cost of their own life.
And you, Diluc can respect that. It definitely doesn't redeem you in his eyes, and he also kinda uses it to reinforce his delusions. If even the imposter dislikes the fatui, then they're literally the worst.
He still hunts for darling, but if he does end up catching up to them, he's more likely to give them a disgusted look but a quick death.
In terms of the Harbingers, they're pretty shocked. Some... may have manipulated the imposter situation more, hoping you'd seek refuge in their arms and only theirs compared to the rest of Teyvat. However, you refusing them was never a possibility they considered, and this comes out of nowhere.
They probably follow you, trying to convince you to join them.
Childe does something like letting you almost die before swooping in to save you in hopes it puts him in your good graces, but you scoff and turn away.
Some just give up and return your spite with their spite - along the lines of, "if you won't accept my help ig you'll just die have fun"

The Creator turned and left, closing the door on the anemo god still standing outside, trying to explain.
How dare they? Was the only thought running through the Creatorâs head.
Itâd taken months upon months of lying and appeasing. Theyâd accepted the ceremonies that their acolytes had tried to make them attend, theyâd accepted the sacrifices, even the devotion of the archons themselves.
Theyâd slowly gathered materials from the ruins of Khaenariâah, lying to the acolytes that theyâd like to see the destroyed nation rebuilt - and wasnât that a blow to the archons?
Theyâd lied through their teeth about how Khaenariâah had been their main source of worship, letting the archons hang their heads in shame, when really, they had no idea what the nation had been like.
Theyâd let Teyvat believe they were God.
Managing to find the original blueprints to the machine Albedo had created had been difficult, but theyâd managed, faking an interest in the specifics of alchemy. Maybe in another life, theyâd have been good friends with the homunculus, but in the situation they were in now...
And theyâd finally managed to reconstruct it in the privacy of their palace, ready to go home.
Their only mistake had been letting themself get distracted, agreeing to one last celebration in their name from their worshippers.
After all, they were to leave that very night. Why not pretend one last time, and mourn what could have been of their friendships with those characters. If only the characters hadnât been so obsessed with their false image of their Creator, the one theyâd forced upon them.
But itâd all been a lie.
The Archons themselves had snuck into their palace, hypocrites that they were - accusing so many others of blasphemy, but invading the privacy of their God without hesitation.
As theyâd danced and reveled alongside those in Mondstadt, the Archons had utterly destroyed the machine, burning the blueprints.
When theyâd discovered the broken pieces of it late at night, long after the celebration had ceased, theyâd been unable to understand.
The Archons crowded them, cooing at them how they simply didnât understand how important it was that they stayed.
âYour Grace, it was simply necessary. We canât allow you to leave us. Besides, your place is alongside us!â
Theyâd been ushered out of the scorched room, and had retreated to a numb figurehead that was paraded around.
And yet, there still remained a spark of defiance in their heart. But as time passed, and the celebrations and eternal worship remained, it froze over, icy as the cold winds of Snezhnaya.
No longer did they allow themselves to be escorted outside, to be gazed upon with awe. They refused to leave the seclusion of the palace, and refused to interact with any of their followers.
They never spoke, wearing a black veil over their face - ever mourning.
As the throngs of worshippers gathered outside, they cried out.
What have we done wrong?
What must we do to rectify this?
Why wonât you talk to us anymore?
None were answered.
The air in Teyvat grew frigid, choking the air out of the peopleâs lungs. The plants and trees withered away, leaving behind naught but lifeless shrubs. And the sky no longer shone as bright as a clear diamond, but instead grey, darker still.
Instead, Teyvat slowly died, and the crowds of worshippers grew more and more insistent.
The Archons gathered to try and sway the Creator, but the Creator refused any of their audiences. Instead, they hid away in the darkest and coldest wing of the golden palace, unwilling to face anyone.
Teyvat itself felt the suffering of the Creator - resonated with it.
Maybe on the day it all started, it agreed with the Archons. Maybe it had agreed the Creator needed to stay with it - maybe it wanted to be a little selfish.
But now...
Now it was evident the Creator was no longer thriving in this land.
And it would always put the Creator first - even if it took a while.
With one last question the Creator, it let them leave. Stepping through a golden portal, so easy and simple as if it had been that way the entire time.
âDo you wish to leave that badly? To leave the entire world to rot and die?â

No, but imagine the Harbingers with an isekai-d villain AU darling who just h a t e s the fatui. I'm speaking of loathing so intense that, like, even when they're the only group that will aid them, darling just declines their help through gritted teeth and walks off as if they aren't actively being hunted down by violent worshippers.
That'd be so funny to see!
They offer their help, and Darling's like:
"Mmmmm nope! I might die without your help and everything, but I will spite you until my last breath! Bye!"
And walks straight out of Schneznaya and into the acolyte's arms.
And I mean
Diluc would respect that
"You're impersonating our god and that's absolute blasphemy and I gotta kinda kill you for that but hey if you don't like the fatui enough to die because of it I will absolutely respect that good on you"
