The fact that you feel like you are is a symptom.

It's a lie your brain clings to because you've been hurt. The trauma and the abuse and the emotional wounds are the cause.

The self hatred you suffer from is not reality. It is a symptom. And it sucks to deal with, I know.

But you do have worth. You are important, no matter what your brain tells you. You deserve good things. You're not a bad person, you're just suffering through something painful and difficult, as a direct result of the way assholes have treated you.

It's not your fault.

Remember that. Remember that the self loathing isn't a reflection of who you are. It's a symptom. It isn't truth. It isn't inherent to who you are.

It is a symptom. A distressing, painful symptom, but a symptom never the less.

Be kind to yourself. You are worthy of compassion and care. You are worthy of safety. You are worthy of happiness.

It’s happening! Kalex Week is back for 2021!
