tonight, my friends and i decided to go for a night stroll along the beach and i like looking at the houses. and i have a staring problem. i make eye contact with a girl about my age on her porch and as we approach she asks ‘have you guys seen love island today?’ and i dont respond immediately, after a second as we continue to walk, i gesture to my more social friend and ask ‘have you?’ but my friend was confused so i explained what happened as we continue walking away and she was like ‘why didnt you say anything if she was making eye contact with you? that was rude’ i dont really have an answer.

i also do have a staring problem so i will be making eye contact with a stranger while in a conversation with my friends but i don’t think of it very much. clearly not a lot of thinking going on in my head in general, though.
