Busy, Bossy & Broken

Neither does life though.

They say you don't appreciate the good without the bad.

But you can't appreciate the good if it never comes.

They say hang in there things will get better.

She's been hanging in so long now, that it seems that the "better" will be the end.

They say life is all about balance.

Smiling...

Laughing...

Existing...

Are these things supposed to hurt so much?

She prefers to watch all the sad movies.

She'd rather hear crying than laughter.

She finds comfort in the tears of others.

She only likes to dance to the sad songs.

She seeks out the sad and the lonely.

Not because she finds joy in others despair.

But because it's the only time she doesn't feel alone.

When the sadness is too much you cry for it

When the loneliness is suffocating you long for it

When the pain is excruciating you beg for it

When you're just too tired you long for it

When your hope is gone you pray for it

And you wonder if you are the only one looking forward to it
