“i may not know how awesome the food is at wamin’s but... there are some pretty decent places here too.” mindy admitted before she shrugged her shoulders. “maybe we can at least find something similar to what you’re fancying?” she mused. “what exactly do you wanna eat right now?”

As Coop opens the car door he notices there was another rider already in the Uber. “I thought I had chosen a single rider option but guess I didn’t.” He sits in his seat making sure the other had plenty of space between them and closes the door. “I should have just doordashed this to my place but lesson learned for next time.” @hiddenstarters

Luisa was shocked when she heard him call her. She looked over at him and smiled. He hugs her and she gives him a tight hug. “Antonio! You’re here! I’m so happy to see you!” She shakes her head with a sad smile. “No, I haven’t seen anyone else. But hey, we have each other now!” She would never say anything, but she was worried about her family. It was so weird not having them here with her.

If he were being honest? He had never felt more alone. Though he was sure the entire Madrigal family would’ve felt the same. They were a close knit family who shared a casa after all. Antonio let out a groan at the tight hug but he grinned and embraced her as tightly as he was able. “I’m happy to see you too! That’s okay, the others will come. Do you have a place to live here?”

“I wasn’t,” she calmly replied, understanding how others would possibly freak out by this. “I was a direwolf, or as your world would call it a wolf,” she explained, “how I became human is beyond me yet here we are”

His brows raised a little. “You... You were a wolf?” Antonio questioned before his smile widened slightly. “I uh, this may sound a little strange but then I suppose so does your story. I am able to communicate with animals! So this is really cool to see one turned human!” Even if the other had no idea of how she was transformed. “My name’s Antonio!”

“You’ve broken my heart with your distrust,” she joked as she looked down at the mangled car and sighed. “I think it’s a goner, I don’t know what else to do to fix it - it just keeps getting worse,” she mused aloud. “Wait, maybe if we walk away slowly and pretend like it doesn’t exist then it simply won’t”

Mia let out a chuckle, shaking her head. “I know nothing about cars but I fear you may be right. It’s not looking very good from where I’m standing.” She admitted as she stood with her hands on her hips. She raised a brow for a moment. “Pretty sure you may get into trouble for doing so, it most likely is linked to you in some way. Perhaps we can call someone to tow it?”

“ considering you’ve made it to mid-november already, i think you’re safe, ” diana chuckled, eyeing some of the decorations around the small store. it wasn’t even thanksgiving yet, and it seemed like all the shelves were already decked out for christmas. “ decorating always puts me in a good mood, ” she admitted, “ but i’m sorry you won’t have your family here with you. spending the holidays on your own just doesn’t quite have the same ring to it. i can’t remember the last time i spent the holidays without my dad. but, he’s not here, so. ” complicated family tree aside, she missed her dad. “ wanna start decorating together? we can make cookies, watch some movies, do the whole nine yards. ”

“I am so glad you’re safe.” Fleur kept her arms around her sister. She had missed Gabrielle so much. Letting her go after a moment. “There are quite a few of us here.” She hoped that would make her feel better. “Bill is here, My kids, some of Bill’s family.” The list was too long to go over everyone. “A year or so? I am alright. Better that you are now here. Means my whole family is here except our parents.”

Her eyes widened in shock at her words. “Really? I didn’t realise so many of us were here!” It did indeed soothe her woes a little. She was afraid she wouldn’t see anyone else but her sister. “How are the little ones, anyways? Are they around, I’d love to say hi!” Gabby grinned as she listened. “A year? Merde, Fleur. That’s so long... Hopefully the others have been around most of that time, oui?”
