My memory of Korea only hurts when I think about it too much.

.. probably because it makes me miss korea all that much more and it reminds me of how I'm unable to walk down those very same roads that I know so well everyday.

Honestly, since I've been back, I haven't thought about korea so much...aside from the usual "how was korea?" I don't talk about it or think about it too much.

... perhaps it's because I don't want to think about it too much because then I'll miss it.. or because I'm too busy to think about it. . or because for the most part, Korea just seems like a dream. Like it never happened.

It was wonderful. It was amazing. It was the experience of a lifetime.

But

To me, ....it just doesn't feel real...

Yes, I know it happened. And that it's part of my reality.

But what I did in korea, ... Is surreal.

I did things I never thought I would. I went crazy. Made ridiculous mistakes. Embarrassed myself. Got crazy drunk. Lost important shit. And mostly..

Didn't give a shit about what anyone thought.

I was so carefree.

Being back home is good, but it's not the same. It just feels as if I never left.

And I know this isn't reverse culture shock because I've experienced it before, it's more like...

... damn. .. back to reality...

Oh wells, I had my fun, time to grow up. If only we could be young and carefree forever...

I miss Korea.
