The first day after making the white rice, the leftovers become fried rice. After that, it becomes porridge. This congee/juk has scallion, egg, mushroom, sesame seed & oil, and soy sauce….I might toss in a bit of gochujang since the porridge needs so much salt to taste good lol

Today is Dak Juk (Korean Chicken and Rice Porridge) yes I'm aware this is more of a winter food but uh too late for that

✿ チュッ | 粥／죽 (Juk) ・チュッはお米などの穀物に水を６～７倍加え、長時間コトコト煮て食べやすくした料理で、健康的な朝ご飯メニューとして親しまれている。種類もお店によっていろいろ。豆・木の実系ではチャッチュッ（松の実のお粥）、ケッチュッ（ゴマ粥）、パッチュッ（小豆粥）、ノットゥチュッ（緑豆粥）など、海鮮系ではチョンボッチュッ（アワビ粥）、クルチュッ（牡蠣粥）、セウチュッ（エビ粥）など、そして肉系ではタッチュッ（鶏粥）、ソコギチュッ（牛肉粥）など、野菜系ではホバッチュッ（カボチャ粥）、ヤチェチュッ（野菜粥）などがある。特に冬至にはパッチュッ（アズキ粥）、夏にはスタミナ食としてタッチュッ（鶏粥）を食べる習慣がある。
