Seize the Day was a calendar program made by in 1994 by Buena Vista software. It features graphics that at the time, were revolutionary because of the way they handled color cycling. These images were static bitmaps, but by changing color values, they appear animated. What is also impressive about these images is that they had full day night cycles built in, rendered also through color cycling. A few years ago, a html5 version was made. A copy was uncovered online and there is a way to use the program through DOSbox. As well, one of the original programmers for the project, Iam Gilman, has thought of the idea of remaking it, open sourced, for modern machines.

Kevin Feige said that they are having a big celebration for the 10 anniversary of Marvel Studios next week. The thought of every Marvel actor getting hammered and dancing and making out in the bushes at Downey’s house (just assuming this party goes down at Downey’s) is making me happy after D23 shit all over me. Then people start jumping in the pool with their clothes on and Tom forces his way into the DJ booth and plays too much Jackson 5 and Downey boots him out and he’s bummed so drinks a 5th of vodka and finally confesses to Chris that he loves him and they find a room to consummate their “bromantic” love. Except the first room they try has Evans, Sebastian Stan and ScarJo threesome happening so they stop and watch for a while. Make it happen Marvel!! 😄😆

You know whats annoying? That it’s normal to know everything there is to know about football and know every players name and know the scores and dress up for games etc but god forbid someone knows all the actors of lord of the rings names and dresses up as a character for comic con, thats just SAD.
