So the second part of our holiday is staying literally right on the harbour in Reykjavik. Today we will be on a boat for 3 hours.

• shopboy!Frank is courting spoilt rich girl!Abby and she tells him that she’ll marry him if he brings her the star they’ve just watched fall from the sky

• he finds the star, but she’s not what he expected, she’s a girl for one (a very pretty one, not that he notices of course)

• he tells her that if she comes back to his hometown, he’ll use the last of the candle his mother left him to return her to the sky

• your standard fantasy hijinx ensue, every day Frank falls for this girl who isn’t Abby a little more, she’s sweet and funny and he wants to protect her from any harm that might befall her

• after a witch tries to kill Mel and they escape using the last of the candle, they find themselves on a flying pirate ship. The captain, Jack Abbot, dresses them both in fine clothes and Frank is speechless at the sight of Mel in a dark blue dress that makes her eyes shine. as they dance together on the deck of the ship, Mel begins to glow with happiness and that night they confess their love for one another

• Frank sneaks out to return home and tell Abby he cannot marry her. but Mel thinks he has returned home to marry Abby and is heartbroken

• blah blah blah fantasy hijinx, Frank realises that if Mel crosses the wall she will die and races back to save her

• on her way to find Frank, she’s captured by the witch who wants to eat her heart, Frank fights tooth and nail to get her back, putting himself in great danger to save her life
