“Because I may want to mix some looks? Obviously, babe.” Roxy shook her head as she finished unpacking the first suitcase. “I’m sure you separated part of your side for me already, why do you play these games?” She hinted as she rested the empty suitcase and instead of taking the next one, she approached her friend, leaning on one knee, she gave Lohri her best provoking look. “Why are you so hectic? Do you have any plans for now?”
“Oh it’s true, I forgot about it, you’ll look beautiful wearing all these clothes regardless.” She commented sincerely, sitting down on the bed, attentive to the change of atmosphere in the room, her gaze following her friend and the fact that she wasn’t unpacking the rest of the things. “It’s not a game, I was just wondering if you even had a plan B.” Lohri looked over her friend’s shoulder at her suitcase with her brows raised. “Aren’t you going to finish unpacking?” Her best-confused look was directed at her friend, but she wasn’t confused at all. “No plans, what do you have in mind?”

“So .. just whatever is edible,” he responded, shaking his head a bit in amusement. Sitting down on the opposite side of her, Greg immediately leaned back as a content sigh passed by his lips. Yes, sitting was what he needed most after a day of work and just exploring the city. “That’s fine, I mean .. could be worse things to do,” he joked, lips pursing a bit. “You know any german ? I feel like I won’t be able to read the menu.”
“Are you vegetarian?” She asked out of pure curiosity, the answer wouldn’t alter the place of their snack in any way. “Really, some cultures wouldn’t feel guilty at all for trying to shove more food at someone.” She giggles remembering her summer and nodded. “I do, I don’t think it’s excellent, but I know how to manage? Like, I wouldn’t be in trouble for not knowing how to speak German. Really? Don’t worry, you have me.” She perked up to offer her help, turning to the staff that brought the menu. “Do you have any idea of what you want to eat?” She questioned Grey expectantly.
Rowan let out a soft laugh. “Maybe I’ll take you up on that when I go for a weekend getaway or two,” she told her, nodding her head. “As long as you trust me enough to take care of the camera, that is. I wouldn’t want to damage it,” she told her, giving the other another smile. “I get that. Jo is more of a planner than I am. I’m more of a go with the flow kind of gal,” she shrugged in nonchalance. She started walking with her, following alongside and in step with ease. “Yeah, myself, Lou and Jo, and Lou’s boyfriend, Dimitri are with me,” she told her. “You’re with Roxy, yeah?” she asked, just wanting to make sure.
Lohri smiles contentedly, nodding in complete agreement. “Okay, you can choose whichever you prefer. Some are easier to handle and there’s less chances of an accident happening. And if it does, it’s fine too.” She shrugged, she didn’t care much about the camera breaking, mainly because she wasn’t the most careful person around her own stuff. “I should’ve planned, maybe I’m like you in this, because my lists only work in theory.” She giggled, tidying up her bangs even though she knew it wasn’t messy. “That’s pretty cool, because you all get along, right? This is important.” She shares the attention she gives Rowan with the details of the hotel as they pass by through some meeting rooms. “Yes! Me and her in the same room, Maeve and Clem in the adjoining room.”
“ you see this? ” he points to his face. “ this is a face that is ready to absorb some hot info. ” he’s holding a clipboard with paper and a pen tucked behind his ear. knowing this is always sexy, and he plans on coming back here to make use of this new knowledge. there’s no one better to learn from than lohri. “ alright, so what museum is this? ”

Looking up from the camera’s display, Lohri giggles when Scott speaks about the museum. “This is perfect, we need attention here.” After the photo of the museum entrance, she puts the camera in her purse and takes out a notepad and pen to accompany him in his notes. “Well, here in this flyer I found at my hotel, says it’s the German Technology Museum and they have a vast collection of historical technical artifacts. It looks interesting, doesn’t it? Let’s go in.” She folds the flyer and begins to make her way into the museum, waiting for Scott to follow her.
JO’S NEVER BEEN TO EUROPE BEFORE, and even when she’s pictured traveling the continent, she’s never pictured it the way she is now. the crown plaza hotel is far NICER than anything she had pictured, and while her number one goal is to make the most of her internship this summer ( with her relationship with mari a close second ) , she still wants to make the most of the rest of this experience as well. it’s why she’s seated alone on the terrace of the hotel, a drink in front of her while finishing a book. it’s surprisingly quiet at this hour, which is why jo is quick to look up when she sees someone walking in her peripherals, a surprised smile spreading on her lips at the sight of the girl. “ hey lohri, “ she calls her over with a wave of her hand, motioning to the seat across from her. “ wanna sit ? “ // @lohrisaelee
Everything was so new to Lohri that she remembered the feeling of when she first set foot in Gallagher, a few years ago. She was aware that she had to focus on the internship, and she was able to do that, but when she was on the street or at the hotel, her eyes could hardly stop at just one thing. The hotel was a lot more elegant than she judged from the outside view. She had already picked up flyers for tips on places to visit while Roxy worked things out with her group of interns. And in her wanderings through the hotel, delighted and agitated, she found Jo. “Hi Jo!” She responded quickly, with hesitant steps, she walked over to her and nodded, sitting on the seat across the other. “Thank you. It’s so nice here, I’m grateful that all the staff speak English, my German is absolutely horrible. But I can manage. Did you like it here? What are you reading?”
“ What do you call a reinforced snack ? ” He asked with a quirk of his brow, a small shake of his head following. Really, Grey didn’t care too much about the culture at all – let alone the food because he had always been a guy of his comfort zone, not too interested in trying anything new but with being here he had no other choice but to be dragged towards the weirdest German places by his friends. “You’re saying it as if I haven’t eaten my weight for like three weeks now, Lohri.” Still, he appreciated it.
“A lot of food? Or, official answer, carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins and everything in the daily diet, of course.” She responded hesitantly as she sat down at one of the cozy tables. Her curious eyes were quick to get lost in all the details she could capture. “I thought for a moment that maybe... it could not be enough? Sorry, I think I got used to eating with my friend and she eats all the time, she must be eating right now.” She justified herself with a half smile despite the slight wrinkles in her brow.

Rowan’s smile softened, just to make sure that the other wasn’t uncomfortable. She noticed the blush and licked her lips, biting down on her lip as she glanced at the floor and then back up to the other’s camera. “I didn’t bring a camera. I should have. My phone is just going to have to suffice,” she told her, laughing softly as she held it up and shook it a little before putting it into the pocket of her jeans. “Definitely,” she said, nodding her head in agreement. “Do you have plans on traveling while you’re here? I think Lou and Jo and I are going somewhere,” she admitted, shrugging her shoulders as she tossed some of her red hair over her shoulder.
It should be noted Lohri was grateful that Rowan didn’t comment on her clumsy greeting, it was assumed that practice would make her perfect-ish. “Oh no, really? If you want, I can lend you one of my cameras, it wouldn’t be a problem at all and, no offense on your phone, if you accept, the photos will be more than suffice.” Lohri suggested, giggling as her gaze following the phone and then back to her camera, there was nothing else to do. “I confess that I forgot to plan anything here, but I know that Roxy wanna go somewhere, she wouldn’t be content with just one place.” She admitted, loosening the grip around the cameras bag cord and after a quick peek in the corridor, motioned with her hand for them to keep walking while they were talking. “We’re all in this hotel, aren’t we?” She commented, omitting one purely photographic comment about her hair.
“Her summer vacation could have been an absolute disaster but it all turned out to be so incredible that Lohri just wanted to go out and ask other people if they were feeling as good as she was. Her first victim was Gregory, who was being dragged by her to one of the cafeterias near her hotel. “I did a little research and this place was the best rated, we’re going to have a good local experience starting with a reinforced snack.” She chattered as she tightened her grip on his arm. “You have to be well fed when you tell me about your summer adventures, right?”
“Why did you bring all those clothes if you plan to buy more?” Lohri was sprawled on her bed staring at the ceiling, barely containing the anxiety to leave the room and explore the city. “And where do you intend to put it all? I’m sure Clem and Maeve don’t want extra clothes from you in their closets.” She turned to her friend with an amused smile on her lips. “Are you done yet?”
Rowan had officially gotten unpacked, having not wanted to leave it for later when she was going to be gallivanting through the city and working with her group and the like, and she was now out and exploring her hotel (which was nice, so thanks Gallagher). Rowan was excited, and after the short break, she needed this new adventure to get herself out of her own head.
When she saw Lohri, a grin split her face. “Hey,” she said, practically bouncing toward the other as she close the distance between them. “Are you exploring too?” she asked, wiggling her eyebrows teasingly. “How are you feeling about all this?” Rowan waved her hand around them and looked at her friend expectantly. // @lohrisaelee
Unpacking was an almost impossible task when you had Lohri’s roommate. Every time she took a piece of clothing out of her suitcase, Lohri heard a long speech about how much they needed to buy new clothes. So she agreed to go shopping later, as long as she could take some pictures around. She took her camera, films and memory cards and left the room in search of new photos.
She was so focused on putting the memory card in correctly that Rowan’s sudden voice made her drop two of them with a considerably discreet gasp. “Hello Rowan!” She laughed sheepishly feeling her cheeks flush, bending down quickly to capture the cards. “I sure am, actually preparing for this.” She wrinkled her nose and showed the camera around her neck, properly ready for the photos. “I’m very excited, hopeful for good memories. I believe it’ll be a new and interesting experience.” She commented grinning, noting how excited Rowan seemed, too.
It could be said that Lohri enjoyed the casino party, despite feeling at her core that something was missing. The next day, she left Roxy’s dorm with confirmed plans to meet again in the second week of the month.
Interestingly, while checking her bags, Lohri found a note from her twin with the date of the beginning of May, unable to contain her curiosity, she opened the note and was extremely confused by the content of the message. He informed that their deceased uncle was a spy and that she shouldn’t trust their parents. Great. Her twin was nowhere to be found again, which was already becoming commonplace so she wasn’t worried as he still sent updates on his status, meaning, he was fine and safe.
But what was written in the note, that was news, their parents were always discreet, since when they moved from Thailand to Washington and then to Portland. Neither commented on what happened in Korea involving their uncle. Her mother was always affectionate and her father, despite being somewhat absent, compensated in other aspects of fatherhood. He was an ambassador so Lohri understood his absence, but she never had any reason to be suspicious. Until that moment.
Nevertheless, she took the first plane and went home to Portland. She didn’t comment to her parents about the events that had taken place at Gallagher during the semester as usual, but they seemed tense as if they knew what had happened, making her even more paranoid. In one of her conversations with Roxy, she decided to anticipate her trip to her friend’s house because she was feeling like she would end up confronting her parents.
That being the third summer she spent with Roxy, Lohri had already given up on contesting her friend’s exaggeration in always picking her up personally with a helicopter and private jet. She was happy as long as she was around her friend.
And Roxy knew better than anyone how to distract Lohri. For starters, the blonde’s family was very pleasant, at least when she was there. Even if she wasn’t hungry, someone was always offering a snack. She took Lobo with her and the cat felt at home. They went horseback riding, took yoga classes, had an actual pool party with some of Roxy’s modeling friends and did a lot of shopping. The short boat trip was postponed until the third week when Sage would join them.
After Sage joined them, they tripled the fun. During a bucket list conversation months ago, Lohri told her roommate that she knew someone who could make Sage’s wish of driving a Maserati down a Italian shore come true, Roxanne wouldn’t mind offering some of her cars so that the other could drive. They had sleepovers with lots of movies and gossips. The short boat ride was so much fun that Lohri ran out of polaroids during the whole thing.
In the last week she felt as if the month had lasted a semester and she would give anything to make it last an entire semester. Roxy’s parents had a business dinner one of the last few days and everyone was invited, Lohri could see some familiar faces from Gallagher there, which reminded her that Berlin was about to happen and she was also excited about it.

“oh, i’m proud of you!” she tells her friend with a smile, being surprised that lohri has ended up playing poker. her head tilts at lohri’s suggestion, but she agrees nonetheless. “sure, why not? worst case scenario is that i lose some fake money.”
“Thank you! A little bit more of that support and I quit my spy career and move to Las Vegas to be a professional poker player!” She gives a heary laugh and nods. “Except for the fact that I suck at poker.” She shrugged. and took the fake bills out of the back of her phone and held them up to Raina. “Don’t worry, as long as we stay in blackjack everything will be fine.”
“It’s for my grandma.” Miray explained, since she was accustomed to using the Turkish term it almost felt disrespectful when she called her grandma. “She sent me the outfit so I know it’ll make her happy to see the picture.” After backing away to where she thought it was appropriate, the brunette attempted to pose and then moved to follow Lohri’s instructions. “Is this better?” Her eyebrows raised in question. She was rather glad that the other seemed to care about how the picture would turn out and wasn’t just taking it to take it.
“Oh this is really cute. She’ll be happy I hope, I promise to take a really nice picture.” She grinned as she positioned the phone’s camera in the right place and with the right lighting. “Perfect.” She warns her before pressing the screen of the device and taking two pictures in sequence. “Here you go, you can check to see if you like it.” Lohri suggests as she approaches Miray and hands over her phone.
