I play too much destiny

My first character I ever made was a Titan. My boyfriend got me into d2 in late 2024, and we figured learning game mechanics was easiest on a Titan, so my little Stasis build quickly grew, and eventually became Tora Galdrin.

Tora was res'd sometime during Beyond Light when Stasis was still just being understood, and took a natural liking to the rigid concepts of the power. She's a huge goofball, but she also can be a little simple at times, choosing to take the path she understands or at least can punch her way out of. I feel like I summed her up perfectly on a separate post:

"Even if you don't immediately like her, she's stubborn enough that you will like her eventually. You don't have a choice."

She's determined to be helpful, and has a little bit of a savior complex, but chooses to support as much of the Tower as she can, whether it's moving furniture for a citizen or killing gods. It's all over her head anyway, just let her shoot something and she'll feel accomplished.

Tora's Ghost, Cali, is a similar jokester.

He loves all things pink and pretty, and often talks Tora into painting her armor pink as well. He also adores chaos, and will refuse to revive her unless she can prove she learned from her mistake that got her downed. He tries to be helpful too, but sometimes the jokes can get in the way.

My second character is much more recent, but took on an immediate shape and personality in my head, and is quickly overtaking Tora as my YW.

Liliana Orvik is a Void Warlock, who is best described as power curious.

She won't sacrifice all to learn more about the workings of the universe, but she will sacrifice a lot of it. She chose to align herself with Eris, the Drifter, and Lodi, rather than integrate too fully into the Vanguard and their rules, and prefers to work alone - unless she's sure that you can keep up with her. She's serious, imaginative, and always has more questions, sometimes even before she gets answers.

Her Ghost, Icarus, is a thoughtful and charismatic Ghost.

He'll take any shell that looks winged, and loves to challenge Liliana's theories with his own. He chose the name Icarus himself, and sometimes the parallels are a little too close to the sun to the original story he's based himself off of. They tend to get into trouble together, taking on problems that are clearly too big for them to handle, but their confidence always pulls them through the danger.

I'm still working on fleshing out these characters and playing through the story myself, so I'll probably be posting about their adventures constantly. This story and this game are beautiful things, and I can't wait to see how they all turn out!
