Hashtag nonsharing selfshipping is the best, having a one on one personal connection may seem cagey and selfish to those who don't quite understand but its as personal as ones own spirituality. Been crazy obsessed (haha.) with this 2P Obsession AU, where Lutz uses his one wish willow to make his coworker (who doesn't really interact with him except to get rides home) fall in love with him.

My version of 2p Germany is womanizing, violent, narcissistic, obsessed with image, and "conquering" relationships in a sense. Valerie attracted him because she seemed passive and quiet enough to make a great blank slate for him, so he goes to the crystal shop to try and get her a gift, but realizes he doesn't really know anything about her, so he gets the willow instead.

Using it, he is of course, initially thrilled, but soon becomes irate at her overt neediness (oh but its cool when he does it 🙄)

Much like Nikki starts dressing differently and changing her jewelry, Valerie starts dressing more femininely and accessorizes as she is under the control of the willow, despite not having the physique for the kinds of clothes Lutz wants to see her in. She also stops picking out the hairs in her cowlick, so the longer she's taken over, her ahoge comes back </3

the last two are my absolute favorites... any picrew I can make Texas canonly plus sized/ add light facial hair I delight in... as well as giving Germany his canon hair! usually I resort to giving him his hair down variant, but I think he is so handsome with his hair done up as usual!!

I'm so grateful to any picrew makers who take time out of their day to offer the possibility to see my selfships in different styles... I love them deeply!!

[I like the idea he took part in Mensur fencing, generally with academic fencing like that in Austria and Germany, getting marks on your face was the point, so I imagine as a younger nation he would have done things he saw as honorable, and mature.]

A big part of Germany x texas for me is that they are incredibly similar deep down, they detest themselfs for harm they've done, and take misguided, often contradictory, actions as a way to assuage guilt (often the subject of occasional arguments) texas is a very human-centered character, who envies the freedom of humans to take action over their own lives, while germany sees people more as juvenile, inexperienced and untrustworthy, leading him to pour his efforts into legislature to control the population (using their own system, mind you)

I also find it delightful that Bavaria and southern germany culturally shares alot of characteristics with texas, that being the general jovial attitude and hardworking farm-folk.

I love the idea of Germany being blissfully unaware of the possible inclement weather in Texas (flooding and tornadoes possible 😭 esp in North texas) and just assumes its just some heavy rain 💔 little does he know... day long tornado warning in effect... 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨

I liked the idea of my texas OC struggling with insomnia and some sort of post traumatic stress (and drinking/smoking problems, to boot) to the point that she stays up days at a time ruminating and consequently feels sort of ill.

To me, night time in Texas feels scary and alive, mainly in the countryside, hours from the main cities. You are often so far from any help, and its so dark, except for some mysterious lights off in the forest, it could be a house, or just a bare streetlight. I wanted texas to have this kind of night time anxiety and feel more on edge at night, but still have a sense that she's comforted by its solitude.

My selfship often feels like more of a deeply committed friendship as opposed to a straightforward relationship, which gives me more leeway to examine Germany and Texas' behaviors as characters.
