The Pyrrhic

A mindfuck for the self harm and psychological community and the bozos out there saying that “people who cut themselves don’t care about other people”- you know what mother fucker if you’re so positive about that ask the thousands of teenagers that feel like nobody is there for them how they feel and what they need the most in their lives k?

I’m a fucked up person in so many way. But tonight was just the wake up call that I need a fucking psychiatrist or Buddha.

To add a label like a tin can on me or anybody else that has the same “intentions”, the title “self harm” sparks yo an interest of discussion cuz it’s very controversial between people that do it, know people who do it, and the many researches and social experiments that there are on YouTube.

However, I came to find another reason while making breakfast and trying to go to sleep with no luck trying for the 15th time to find the sleeping pills my caring mother hid from me cuz she was scared that I was gonna kill myself, well let’s just say she wasn’t entirely wrong.

Many of us know the meaning & symbol of the semicolon. If you haven’t it’s this-> ; <- the dot with a comma underneath and the meaning is “[a] semicolon is used when an author could’ve chosen to end their sentence, but chose not to. The author is you and the sentence is your life.”-Project Semicolon-Bleuel (founder I’m pretty sure). Now, when it comes to self harm, cutting or burning whatever you tend to do, it’s a symbol too.

The scars are the title that there is a story, and the semicolon are the passages that move on through in your mind of your life from the past to the present and future. The scars spark up an interest towards others of “what happened?”. Some people might answer and some may not depending on what type of person they are, but if that story inspires others to do good by human kind and to not judge a people by their weight, skin color, ethnicity etc. and have an impact towards that singularity of person or persons by their mind being open to compassion, humility and strength with respect, for me I can say that self harm has been a positive affect In my life, on a diagonal view on the different ways in can affect others. But it still doesn’t mean to keep on hurting yourself for the sake of pure attention or dealing with problems.
