Walking around the Medinas in @visit_morocco_ makes you really experience a different culture and way of life. ⁣ Even thought it can be a little overwhelming, negotiating each purchase is a fun game that you start to enjoy especially when you feel you got a great deal out of it. ⁣ At first we thought it was only for the tourist but after talking with some locals and our guide we realized that even them always negotiate theirs pricing. Which make you feel a little less like a tourist. ⁣ What was our favourite purchase you will ask? We came back with 2 amazing Moroccan leather poof that we purchase in Fes. Friday night = 🍕🎥night We love our @preschoice #pcinsiders membership which send use boxes of goodies to make some yummy 🥘. We made cauliflower crust pizza for the first time, it was so delicious and will definitely be making this again. We felt guilty free going back for a 3rd and 4th slice! Not going to lie it was labour intensive but I wanted to make sure I made it without fail, and the result was pure perfection and the pizza held up like a regular pizza I was so amazed. ⁣ If you are looking for a gluten free pizza alternative try out this recipe. Make sure to follow all steps to accomplish a successful crust. I have seen lots of recipes where the recipe just didn't work, but if you follow these steps I promise you won't be disappointed. Our family loved it. ⁣ Ingredients Cauliflower florets 8cup (1 large head) 1 egg 1 cup shredded mozzarella 1/4 cup almond meal/or ground almonds Pinch of salt Pinch of garlic powder ⁣ 1) Rice cauliflower florets in food processor working in batches to avoid it getting soggy 2)cook riced cauliflower in a bowl covered with a plate in the microwave for 15-20 min (mix half way). Let cool to room temp and pop in fridge to completely cool. You can steam over the stove of you prefer. 3)preheat oven to 425'F , preheat pizza stones for 30 min, an upside down cookie sheet works well if you don't have a pizza stone. 4)squeeze out any excess liquid from cauliflower using a lint free kitchen towel. Discard liquid. Best results the more liquid you get out. 5)in a large bowl mix cauliflower, salt, almond meal, garlic powder, mozarella. Form a 12x12 circle about 1/4 inch thick on parchment paper. 6)transfer pizza with parchment paper onto pizza stone and bake for 15 min until golden brown, top with pizza sauce (don't put too much sauce or it will get soggy- I used 1/4 cup), cheese and your pizza toppings (stay away from veggies that would release too much moisture in the tomatoes) 7)bake another 10 min and transfer onto cooling wrack for 10 min with parchment. 8) enjoy!!! #cauliflowerpizza #pizzalovers #kidsfood #signup #thankyou (at Toronto, Ontario) https://www.instagram.com/p/CGbAXrWl6wW/?igshid=1moqghrcfw5vm

Did you know OCT 10th is mental health day? I wanted to raise awareness to this very important issue that many people battle. Don't compare yourself to what you see on social media, people only share what they want you to see. "The good moments" But everyone has their own struggles behind those smiles. I never suffered from any mental health issues my entire life until a year ago when I found myself battling anxiety, stress and depression due to infertility treatments as we tried for baby number 2. We never spoke about this to anyone apart from thomas and I. People would see our feed so happy traveling the world but not knowing what we were battling on the inside, the main reason we took a break and traveled in the first place, to escape. I never thought I would get to a state where I would be in tears everyday, having sever anxiety and panic attacks, isolating myself from friends, or feeling alone because it wasn't something I wanted to open up about. It was the worst feeling. When I was finally able to open up and talk about it after many months and taking a break to travel with my husband and son to escape and focus on clearing my mind and spending quality family time to remind ourselves how blessed we are. Focusing on taking care of myself and getting back to myself. Your mental health can really affect your body and it's proof. The moment I was relaxed and mentally back to myself we found out we were naturally pregnant with my little princess. The most amazing and surprising news and we are so excited for her arrival in just a few weeks. I wanted to share my story for anyone who is facing what we went through, or dealing with any mental health issues, you are not alone and you will get through it. Nobody ever talks about their infertility struggles until you open up and then soon realize almost everyone you know or talk to knows someone or has gone through the same struggles. Happy 4th of July to all our American friend 🎉 🎊 🇺🇸. We are so lucky to have visited this beautiful country so many times and have amazing 🇺🇸 friends. .
