This is a 18+ historical gothic-horror-romance interactive novel. Inspiration was taken from classic gothic literature and modern dark fantasy such as: Brotherhood of the Wolf (Le Pacte des Loups), Crimson Peak, The Bloody Chamber, and the folklore surrounding the Beast of Gévaudan. Also it will be set in 1764 France and though I will try to make it somewhat historically accurate, I will also take some creative liberties(like my research has not stopped and history fascinates me), I mean besides the whole fantasy stuff.
I want to explore certain themes, like the MC duality and the beast within, human monstrosity and supernatural, trauma, guilt, identity, reason vs superstition, and of course feminine rage , along with bodily autonomy. (So do not come at me asking if MC can be male).
Content Warnings: This story is intended for a mature audience. It will explore themes of psychological horror and will include explicit violence and gore, body horror (related to lycanthropic transformations), sexual themes (explicit sex scenes, including references to and mild depictions of sexual assault), religious fanaticism, and gaslighting.

This blog and project is well and truly dead. I doubt there are many if any who still follow or remember it. But some part of me still thinks about the characters every few months and their stories which wont ever be told. I was proud of coming up with these things, so for my own self satisfaction I'm going to spoil the biggest secret of the whole stories saga. Even if nobody cares or reads it.
As usual, everything revolves around the MC. Their powers were know as a very inaccurate psychic clairvoyance.
MC's actual powers had to do with time. They never knew or had any control, it would kick in more like a flight and fight response, ripping them back in time to a safer point when triggered. Every time was traumatic and damaging to their mind, not that they knew. And as often happens with trauma the brain may make you forget to protect itself. So the visions were just broken memories pushing through their psyche.
So a lot of the story would have been them coming to terms with these broken memories and how far they have actually lived and why they are in living it all again. And of course learning to control these powers, hopefully.

Thanks Anon! I love love that you love it, hopefully I won't disappoint in the future. These are written with the context, that it's established they both like each other but maybe not dating just yet. Or supper early in relationship. Bit longer that usual so read below...
Angel
Angel tries to hold themselves against the wall, using its support to try and hide the injury. But as soon as they step forward their ankle crumbles beneath them and they let out a subdued hiss of pain, falling into a crouch.
The thrumming pain of their ankle is so strong they don't notice MC, who they forgot about at the twist of the appendage, comes up behind them. And then they're in MC's arms, against their chest and throwing their arms around their neck to balance themselves in MC's hold.
Once comfortable in their new position, Angel's sense come rushing back to them. They struggle with rushed words of being alright - "I'm fine Mc, really I can walk, just give me a moment". But as we move forward they eventually settle in MC's arms, head against their shoulder turned away from the world - to passer by a small smile could be briefly seen on their lips joined by lightly blushing cheeks.
This is a first for Angel, being able to lean on someone.

"Owwwwoowowowowie." J.D. has dropped into a crouch, clutching their ankle with muted sounds of pain. "Ohh, I'm gonna feel that in the morning", they manage to say through tight lips, smiling up at me from their position on the ground. They're trying not to make me worry, I an tell. But theirs a glisten to their eyes and the smile is strained.
They quickly pop up on their one good leg, throwing their arms out as they wobble while finding their balance. "Hmm, maybe I can hop to the meeting. It'd be good exercise." Before they can rattle off any more ideas, that'll probably cause more injury, they're in your arms and you're on your way. J.D. does let out a little squeak at first, but quickly settles with a smile and words of thanks.
"Hey, I could used to this." They say with a bright smile, and I think they're talking about more than just being carried.
Gabriel
Gabriel's harsh pace increases as they walk down the street, trying to cover the slight limp their gait now has under the guise of rushing and impatience. "Hurry up MC, you'll make us late." Their words are curt and offer no room for argument.
To the non-observant or maybe those that just don't know Gabriel very well, they look fine. Normal even, just a extra sprinkle of harshness to their tone. But you can see it. The tightness of their jaw, They are in pain.
And before they can hobble much further and make their ankle worse, you sweep them off their feet.
Swear words are thrown, a slight struggle ensues but eventually you are both on your way again. Gabriel thrown over your shoulder, you make it to the meeting on time.
I hate to do this again, but I need help. In a very "if I don't get the help I need I may die" kind of way.
Short story: I need to raise $6,500 to cover the other portion of my dental expenses so I'm no longer in constant pain and I don't die from my teeth eventually abscessing.
Long story: I finally got to a dentist today (July 28th, 22), and I was told I need at least half of my teeth removed because of their condition. This was the first dental visit I've had in thirteen (13) years, as my father refused to pay for them when I was a child and I only now had the ability to pay to go to one finally. The damage is done, and my top teeth need removing. That's where the whole dying part comes in.
Basically, if you're not well-versed in tooth decay and abscesses, if your back upper molars abscess, it has a good chance of spreading to your sinus cavities and then traveling to your brain, which can lead to coma, stroke, and death. The average rate of Americans dying from that was 650,000 a year last I checked. And, given I know what an abscess feels like, I don't think it'll be long before my back upper right molars abscess.
I don't want to die. I'm 23, and I've been in pain from my teeth for nearly a decade. I've not been able to bite into food with my front teeth since I was 13 or 14. The dental work I need would both potentially save my life and change it for the better.

The bill breaks down like this: Denture, full extractions, lower teeth diagnosis. Given I'm young, they want to get me a denture after I have all my top, wisdom, and one bottom molar removed, then do a bone graph so I have a chance in the future to get implants or a snap-in denture.
The full bill is $7,467. I have $1000 from CareCredit I'm putting towards it, and I have a little bit of money saved plus I'm going to tear a new one into the IRS to figure out where the fuck my state taxes are, but I need help getting the rest of it.
So, we do have an update! It's got good news and bad news.
My pain is worsening, especially after a mishap last night. I chewed the wrong way, hit the really bad tooth, and I was in agony for 2 full hours straight. I genuinely would rather go through my surgery pain before and after than EVER go through that kind of pain. I think it's damaged the tooth as well, given my overall pain has worsened, too :/
I'm going to use the last little bit of expenses money I had left to do a big Blaze either tomorrow or Saturday, the $25 tier one, as my uncle told my mom and I that he'll add as much as he can to the money I need in a week's time, just to keep trying to raise more. So, hopefully, I'll be able to get my work done sometime in August :')

Angel isn't all that into PDA, so any affection in front of others is usually muted. They appreciate MC's affection but their own responses won't be able to match. Behind doors tho, consider them a sponge cause they soak that shit up. They are all about it, couch cuddles, cute kisses, hand holding while reading. It would take them a while early relationship but once they are used to it, they really like it and treasure it in the relationship.

A bit of a tsundere with this one. Out in the open they'll play a little cold and pretend that they don't like it. But they love that shit. They'd even get sooky if you stopped. And as time goes on and the relationship solidifies they'd be more open with their affection. But in the mean time expect it to be repaid with secret kisses, and make outs in hallway closets.
