So, TWSK! What's been going on? Well, we're about half-way through our editorial pass! Then, Bri and I will be doing our final push to re-read everything out loud to each other, and make the final edits. Then? Well, it's published for pre-order and sent out to the ARCs on April 30th by 8P.M.

I have some exciting news for Candlehearth!

We are at the half-way point on the book!

26,500/50,000 words for the estimated book total. Looking to be more like 55,000 when it's done, but I'm not looking at it yet.

Chapter 12/23, so pretty much directly in the middle!

Prologue-Chapter 11 is done, and Chapter 12 is started!

I have a vague cover idea, but nothing concrete yet.

Hi, guys! So, a little update. I started my second book. My current one is in the beta stage, I have the book cover ready to go, and... yeah! I'm hoping to have it in Pre-order by the end of April.

But, I did take down my old Patreon. I'll be real, I haven't been super motivated for games in a long while. But writing books feels... so much more right. So much more like me. I think I finally found my niche, and that is going to enable me to put more effort into my Patreon going forward. I have a new one, with a renewed appreciation for how hard it is to stay on with with routines. You can follow me here. So, as it turns out, I am actually finally on the final chapter of my novella! It's been a crazy week, I can't believe I got the first draft mostly done already HAHAHA

Some items of interest:

Yes, I originally announced it as a novel; however, the story fits more of a novella size (as it will be 40-45,000 words roughly when finished). I'm not sweating it, I feel it is very concise and fits this length! And, it's the first actual book I've ever written; I think future books will be steadily longer!

The title is definitely cemented as The Wolf She Kept

After I finish the first draft today or tomorrow, I will be letting it sit for a few days before the first and second round of edits. If you want to be a beta reader or an ARC reader eventually, please DM me!

I will be beginning my second book shortly, as I am still brainstorming an idea. But I will say... some characters mentioned in this first book will make a return later >:) Perhaps even in their own books.

Hi, guys, I'm back quite soon, hahahah! I have hit 25,000 words on my book! I am now going to give some details as I have hit a major milestone:

The title for now is The Wolf She Kept

I am currently at thirteen chapters and four interludes

Expected word count based on where I am now is ~50-60,000 words (I'm not too bothered by this, I knew going into this that my debut novel might be a short novel)

The main characters are named Mariam Leaven and Sable

Sable is a wolf Faeral (for those of you who don't know, Faerals are a species of Fae that were magically combined with animals)

I am also going to be working on a Wordpress for my books before long; I don't know if I should continue using this tumblr for them or not, honestly. (Advice is welcome, a rebrand may be in order)

This will be the first in a series revolving around different pairings and in a world of Four individual series.

Hi, folks! I have a writing update to give y'all. I actually started writing a book this week. I don't want to give too many details, but it's a lesbian romance dark fantasy novel set in a world that is a giant incorporation of most of my Really Sick Ideas, like Fae, Faerals (one of the two mains is a Faeral like Loche >:3), and a world of supernatural creatures existing alongside humans.

Now, I don't want to get y'all too riled up because you never know, maybe I lose interest, maybe I have a mental health crisis or medical crisis, y'know. A lot has happened over the years that always crashed my writing process early in which lead to me losing steam on a project. But I feel really good about this one. I have the outline perfect, with all the story beats and major scenes planned. I am also adding in some of my favorite things from my normal IF writing (hello villain POV!), and to be honest guys, I haven't felt this eager and on point with a project since 2017/2018 when I started Mind Games, which should tell you something.

But, I digress. I mainly came here to announce I have a project, and to celebrate hitting 12,000 words! I'll do another celebratory and update post for the following word counts:

25,000 <- At this number, I'll start regularly releasing snippets of the book.

35,000

42,000

50,000 <- At this count I may start gathering the resources to get the book cover done.

60,000

70,000

80,000

Every 10,000 words after this, if we reach this point.

So far, I do not have a word count expectancy nor chapter number, I'm just kind of vibing like I normally do. But I'm expecting at least 50,000+ words (as I'm not even a quarter of the way through my outline and we're at 12,000 words, and chapters continue to get longer), and maybe at least 20 chapters.

Grimshire is like... if you took souls-like theory and applied it to farming sims. It's a dark, grim game about a disease outbreak and how it effects the small town of Grimshire. From pirates to ruddy tax collectors to environmental threats, you and your fellow villagers will face hellish events together, and either be forged in the fire.... or die to its flame.

It is currently in early access, but trust me, it is WORTH playing. It is worth every dime you can give to it and thensome.

i took a small break over the holidays due to being busy busy but am now getting back on board! i unfortunately got back later than i wanted, as i had a nasty case of either food poisoning or norovirus, but hey! at least i survived to write more! lol!
