Whether the body is an adult or not has nothing to do with it. Whether you think them being alive for decades should make them "less of a child" isn't important.

irl i’ve had people be so mean, disrespectful, and boundary-crossing when they regressed since “you know how kids are.. i was in littlespace, it’s fine!”

i am fighting you (when you’re big so you have the advantage that you will need). kids aren’t jerks like that. they’re blunt and make observations that are meant to be neutral. yeah kids CAN be mean, that’s a thing (i got bullied as a kid by kids).

but regressing or being a little isn’t an excuse to be mean, i’m going to put you in the timeout corner for smacking me.

you can literally set boundaries with kids, it’s not “too complex”. you might have to use simpler language or explain some things but children are nicer and smarter than people give them credit for. i do not CARE that you’re regressed, i am not letting you tug at me because it HURTS.

Perisex means "not intersex" while tme/tma rely entirely on declaring who experiences what form of oppression

Saying that everyone who isn't transfem doesn't experience transmisogyny and is exempt from it and using that as the determining factor for not being in your "in" group is exactly the issue with these terms.

There's nothing wrong with a word that means "not transfem" but the issue is that the way tme/tma work is that "transmisogyny affected" fundamentally does not apply to only transfem but people are claiming it should.

Tme/tma are based entirely on denying the experiences of others and forcing people into a dichotomy that doesn't function.

This news probably came as a surprise to you. After all, you haven’t done anything pedophilic that you know of. Yet here you are, accused of being a pedophile.

It doesn’t matter whether you’ve been diagnosed with POCD or not, whether you’ve sought out material or not, even if you’ve been vocally opposed to pedophilia in the past. What matters right now is that YOU are a pedophile. Someone said it was true, and that’s what matters to most people.

This is gonna sound like an unhinged comparison at first, but hear me out.

This whole “discourse” around ISFF has had me thinking over and over again about how Paul Robeson was blacklisted from being a prominent face of the civil rights campaign despite being possibly the most globally well known Black person from the US, bc he was a communist in a time it wasn’t just unacceptable socially but legally dangerous and would’ve brought even heavier crackdowns on the civil rights movement.

The result was an incomplete liberation because it was only uplifting the “acceptable ones” within a capitalist framework rather than uplifting the baseline total rights regardless of belief/existence.

The point there being is that so long as there are categories of human we view as unacceptable we cannot achieve total liberation. All trannies and faggots are pedophiles, addicts, bums, rapists, whores, etc. to those who see it convenient to get rid of us, and refusing to address this issue will only result in an incomplete liberation because we cannot leave behind those who are seen the worst by society when we ARE them too by default.

“But communist and pedophile is an unhinged comparison” they’ve been calling communists that, perverts, sexual deviants, etc. since McCarthyism anyway so.

We cannot be truly liberated until even those viewed as “the worst of society” have the same basic rights and ability to survive in society as everyone else. As humans, they deserve that much. If you cannot accept that, consider that all any of the rest of us need to become one of them is to be accused of it. Proof doesn’t matter. Reality doesn’t matter. You are a pedophile. You will become a pedophile as soon as it is useful for someone to make you into one.

There is no option but acknowledging they are still human and cannot be simply removed from society, because as long as there are stigmatized demographics, we will be able to remove the basic rights of anyone.

frankly, as useful as 'caricature' is as a descriptor, I'm not sure it's precisely accurate. as i see it, the transmisogynist desires for the epistemic erasure of trans women, but simultaneously will recognize the existence of the degendered transfeminized object. the goal is to separate us, to draw a line and put us outside of it, to deny us the ability to speak and the ability to understand and analyze our plight.

"trans women are actually very, very rare. most of the time in the real world, you'll see femboys, crossdressers, fetishists, pretending predators, and so on." this is the goal, the erasure of our ability to engage in any social reproduction, by making it clear that no one is actually a trans woman. and, over time, all "existing" trans woman will be forcefully "revealed" to be in those categories as well, until none of us are actually trans women.

thus, we are totally objectified, and unable to discuss or understand our plight or even speak to defend ourselves at all, and may be freely extracted from for sexual gratification, abused and mistreated socially, or just pointed to and showed off as evidence for why the patriarchy must exist and why you must support it.

For example, I wear a mask out in public, and I’ve noticed that I’ve never dealt with harassment about it, while my friends who are/are read as women do on a regular basis in ways that can feel really frightening. I also work a job in healthcare, and I’ve noticed that my female coworkers in my same job position get criticized in ways that I don’t or are assumed to be incompetent in some way. I could go on, but the TL;DR is that I really do feel I have a level of male privilege compared to women (and people perceived that way) that can’t really be like, hand waved away, because these are things that can impact someone’s safety and stability.

Again, I know that personal experience isn’t everything and not every trans man is going to be read as cis male by any stretch of the imagination, but like… how does that fit into the framework? Just trying to make sense of things. Thanks!

I think there absolutely needs to be a succinct way to delineate between systemic privilege and interpersonal, day-to-day privilege. Perhaps just "as a trans man, I experience interpersonal male privilege due to being percieved as male."

Its kind of difficult, because bad actors use this as a way to both generalize trans men in general, and conflate interpersonal privilege with systemic privilege. However, that should not stop you from speaking to your own personal experience, and its very thoughtful of you to reflect on how you benefit from the biases of other people.

This goes the other way as well - there are trans women I know personally who discuss how they benefited from interpersonal male privilege before coming out - but that doesnt mean that they and other transfems are benefited from it systemically.
