August 10th - Happy Birthday Snoopy!
The reason your snacks are unsatisfying is that you need both carb and protein.
Carb starts your engine, protein keeps it going.
No carb, engine donāt start. No protein, engine dies out fast.
Easy carb add on:
Cookie
Fruit (canned or fresh)
Chips
Piece of bread
Popcorn
Crackers
Easy protein add on:
Nuts
Spoonful of nut butter
Cheese
Roasted chickpea snacks
Glass of milk (dairy or non dairy)
Small canned sausages or similar
Sugar in there.
I am pleased by people messaging me telling me that after adding a carb or protein to their snacks or meals they feel more satisfied all day. Yes, my plan is working. People are getting through their days with less hangry.
TĆpico de belgas malinois
Good video showcasing exactly why these dogs are not suited to 99 percent of households.
They've gotten very popular recently and I suspect theyre also being dumped in shelters at a high rate
I can confirm they are.
Which is one of the reasons I reblogged this, I vaguely hope it might make someone somewhere reconsider their choices

hey quick PSA but āreading before bed to wind downā only works if youāre normal about books btw. if you arenāt you are going to end up awake at 2:52am after finishing the whole book just trust me on this one
baseball fights are better than hockey fights because everyone expects a fight in hockey. baseball fights are some real hater shit
ABSOLUTELY COMICAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway adults sayingĀ āI donāt know isnāt an answerā is part of the reason I learned to lie and bluff so well.
Really though, what was that about? I donāt know is a valid answer. It communicates very clearly that the child cannot answer your question, and therefore maybe needs more help understanding the question/situation. Why do you try and push them to give an answer they donāt have? That stresses them out and it makes them feel like theyāre being punished for not knowing something.
i thought i was the only one with an āi donāt knowā problem because my parents made it seem it was the strangest and also most horrible thing in the world. i genuinely didnāt know and they got angry and that only blocked my thoughts more which meant i didnāt know the answer to anything else.
THIS ^^^
Also āI donāt knowā is a commonly used sentence for children with ADHD/Autism. We DONāT know why we canāt do our homework. We DONāT know why we canāt eat certain foods sometimes. We DONāT know why we forgot to do a chore. Itās really distressing when you genuinely donāt know and people think youāre just lying or indifferent
[VD: A TikTok titled "My 10 favorite (inexpensive) holiday gift ideas for the blind & visually impaired." The first clip shows a person pointing up at the title as they voice-over: "These are my ten most favourite gifts for the blind and visually impaired".
The following items are demonstrated in the video and described in the voice-over:
1. Assorted bump dots - Various kinds of stickers with protruding dots on them that can be put onto appliances to make them more tactile.
2. Pocket money brailler - A device that allows you to imprint braille onto paper notes, indicating their value.
3. Liquid level indicator - A device hung on the edge of a container with metal prongs that detect when liquid has reached it.
4. Braille Pop-It - A pop-it with the alphabet in braille on each bubble.
5. Tactile Rubik's cube - A rubik's cube with unique textures for each color.
6. Braille color clothing tags - Tags with braille to indicate what colour a piece of clothing is.
7. Signature guide - A card with a rectangular slit in it to guide the user when writing their signature.
8. Low vision playing cards - Cards with very large and colorful numbers on them.
9. Pop-A-Cell - A plastic card with 6 bubbles you can indent to practice braille characters.
10. Talking keychain clock - A clock that says the time aloud when you press a button.
End VD.]
rbing again to boost my description! please make sure to rb this with a description! its a bit painfully ironic to see a video about blind people without a description... yknow, so visually impaired people can access it

ACCIDENTALLY LEFT MY MACERATED APPLE SYRUP ON THE STOVE AND IT CARAMELIZED I GUESS?
it was super thick and dark and golden and bubbly so i took it off the heat. happy accident.
tastes delicious so good. idk what to do with it though
thank you for your recommendation! with brief consideration, it has been disregarded.
I have a lot of pet peeves but I think the biggest one is when people say things likeĀ āoh itās such a small town, only 35,000 peopleā like bitch my town has 200 people, you need to pick a new adjectiveĀ
According to Wikipedia, a small town is 1,000-20,000 people. So although you are correct in stating that 35,000 people is not a small town (it is a large town), you are incorrect in thinking that you live in a town. You live in a village. You are a villager.
Iā¦ā¦ donāt know what to do with that informationā¦ā¦a villagerā¦
thought too hard about MRI machines today and had this come to me in a vision
mri accident is literally one of my biggest anxiety freakouts. i dont care about being in the tiny loud tube, im so scared of a secret piece of metal i dont know about in my body will tear through me like a knife through butter. what if i ate a quarter in my sleep
Quarters George who eats a $10 roll of quarters every night is shredded into a fine mist my the MRI
TIME TO POST ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE IMAGES!!!!
Back when I worked at the hospital, I had to take MRI training and it was my favorite thing every time. It was only like 10 minutes long and went a little something like this:
Hey. The MRI is basically a really big magnet and by basically I mean it is and we literally never turn it off. It's like really big. Really really big and powerful and The Magnet is always on. We don't turn it off Ever, for any reason. We mean it bro, The Magnet is literally always on. It's crazy strong and will definitely kill you. So don't bring any metal into the MRI room, man. You will fuck up the machine (because The Magnet is always on) and then you will die (again, because The Magnet is always on). Here's some fun questions for you to test your understanding!
1) The ______ is always on.
2) The Magnet is ______ on.
3) How often is The Magnet on?
4) The Magnet is always __.
5) The Magnet is always on. T/F
6) The Magnet is usually on but we know to turn it off for you because you're a very special boy :) T/F
7) My weak fleshy body can survive the wrath of The Magnet. T/F
8) Look at this 500 lbs steel hospital bed, which The Magnet has crumpled into an origami crane. Imagine if that was you.
9) Is The Magnet ever off?
10) Sometimes we turn The Magnet off. T/F
Thank you for taking MRI training. We hope you learned that The Magnet is always on, because it is. It's on Right Now and it will be on every time you come to the MRI. Have fun and remember: The Magnet is always on!
I love you MRI training. The Magnet is always on.
going to start saying The Magnet Is Always On the way some people say God Has A Plan
That picture of Lady Gaga as a child where she looks like a child pretending to be Lady Gaga means so much to me

Is it the freedom
It's the venting. In the USA, dryers have massive exhaust vents to the outside of the room/building that take the hot wet away and leave hot dry behind. In many other countries, dryers do not generally have external exhaust vents, and simply fill the room they are in with the hot wet, which may or may not be enough to actually remove the hot wet from the clothing depending on how well ventilated the room itself is.
