Like yes I have seen alligator on menus at Cajun and seafood restaurants. No I don’t know anyone who has eaten it more than once or twice. I will eat some wild stuff and I know people who will eat wild stuff but I don’t know anyone who will see alligator on a menu and order it unless it’s as a joke and even then the joke probably wouldn’t go past suggesting ordering it

I’m not saying it’s terrible or you shouldn’t try it, but know that it is a bit for tourists and not something anyone is actually doing regularly.
