its fucked up how many people will deconstruct from believing in god but then humor the concept of sin being something real that deserves to be taken seriously

because evangelicals can't actually argue against "I'm not a sinner because sin isn't real" but so many people do half the work for them by instead arguing what is or isn't sinful and thus accepting the idea that sin is real

Like yes I have seen alligator on menus at Cajun and seafood restaurants. No I don’t know anyone who has eaten it more than once or twice. I will eat some wild stuff and I know people who will eat wild stuff but I don’t know anyone who will see alligator on a menu and order it unless it’s as a joke and even then the joke probably wouldn’t go past suggesting ordering it

I’m not saying it’s terrible or you shouldn’t try it, but know that it is a bit for tourists and not something anyone is actually doing regularly.
