Like it's just incredibly alarming seeing people yelling at trans women that transmisogyny is essentially not real to them worse than I've seen in a while, arguing SO loudly by being wildly wrong because they dont even understand what transmisogyny even means or how its works, constantly trying to downplay experiences and even education that trans women are trying to give us so we can better help them, trying to twist the narrative against trans women by saying that them trying to fix this constant decentering of their opression is "in-fighting and in-fighting is terf/fash/cop shit". Of course none of this is new, but like there seems to be a saturation of this attitude as of late and it is genuinely worrying me.

But y’all really need to watch the white trans people you follow. Esp in the trans masc community, there is way to much racism, lesbaphobia and transmisogyny that gets excused under the guise of trans masc activism. There is no reason a violent transmisogynist, and rape apologist is one of the biggest, most well known trans masc/man support bloggers. There’s no reason another one is extremely antiblack, and transphobic toward black people. Yes this is about nothorses and dead-dyke, and if you actually cared about trans people, especially black trans and trans masc people people, you wouldn’t let such problematic people get this far. This is why, as a fluid transmasc person, I always felt alienated from the community. In college I started to lean more toward a transmasc identity and still do. But when I looked for support in the community—this is who I saw. And no one, absolutely no one can call them out on their bullshit without them playing white victim.

If you actually care about the safety of black trans people, then you wouldn’t be platforming literal rape apologists, racists and transphobes. Soo many of y’all go to people like THEM for help and spread such harmful, hateful rhetoric especially toward trans women and see nothing wrong with it. Same with black people…

It’s just—idk, while I’m happy a lot of people see them as shitty, there just isn’t really enough out cry for how awful they are.

Here is a very detailed callout about dead-dyke and everything he’s done.

Nothorses is one of his biggest supporters and defends EVERYTHING he has done from antiblackness, to transmisogyny, to lesbaphobia, etc. Nothorses also has a history of racism and also targeting and speaking over trans women. 

At this point, what he’s recently been doing is lying about a black trans person (two black trans people), made a callout against this black trans person defending dead-dyke, and has also been lying that this person has been harassing him for six months straight.

on top of that, nothorses is also super transphobic because he made fun this black trans person’s identity (witches of color is the user im talking about), while having his followers refer to her as cis when she isn’t, and sending his followers to search her blog to ‘prove’ she was actually cis so he could frame his argument that way. 

so yeah. whenever woc attempted to correct nothorses and also ask him to stop saying she was cis, etc., he said she was harassing him and blocked her. and then continued to be transphobic on his blog.

nothorses and his followers making fun of her gender, and claiming she only came out as trans to join the argument (witches also is a genderfluid trans person, she originally said she was a tme trans women bcs she identified as genderfluid and trans, however she changed that so she wouldn’t conflate it with trans women, she now just calls herself genderfluid and trans and understands her original wording was wrong. however, the only people to actually make fun of her for this, were nothorses and his followers who are all trans masc, not any trans fem people, just nothorses and his racist friends. on top of that, they gain, said she was only calling herself  trans to gaslight them which she never did.

These studies show there is little evidence to show that factors relating to male puberty – such as lung size and bone density – produce an advantage for trans athletes.

Existing rules regarding trans women in sport most often relate to the suppression of testosterone to certain low levels.

Know what flaw should be focused on? Him translating his fear into “what I’m afraid of is evil.” It’s such a common human tendency, but it’s the flaw he actually had a choice in. He took his fear as proof that the Creature was a violent, evil being, instead of anything the Creature actually did by this point.

I’m pretty sure that this flaw is going to show up from other characters as well, and those characters are just as complicit in the mistreatment of the Creature as Victor is. And not only that, but it’s a much more poignant theme and social commentary than “how dare you have a mental breakdown.”
