Tenzin is designed as Christian Lite™ and drugs and alcohol have never touched his lips. One time when he found Kya's weed grinder, he opened it, sniffed its contents, and still didn't even know what it was.

Tenzin is the brother of Bumi and Kya. He can outdrink almost anyone except for the two of them, and Lin. He outdrinks Korra in her twenties and this honestly scares her.

Tenzin and Lin had a rich kid cocaine and opium era when they were teenagers. Pictures from those newspaper articles are very rare because Toph and Aang spent a lot of time, effort, and money to get rid of them. Canon Tenzin is a recovering addict.

Like they were playing code names all the time when Lin, Tenzin, and Suyin were children.

Airbending is banned from pro bending because of the one time Tenzin substituted in on Lin's team when they were younger.

The opposing team had no idea how to handle him or his airbending, and no one could even land a single hit on him.

The judges knew they'd have to rewrite the entire rule book if he kept playing, so they just banned the element outright stating it was unfair as there were no other airbenders in the league to compete with him.

I do not have any young linzin fics in progress. They pack a wallop on my psyche and the muse winds only blow for them sometimes.

My favorite headcanons right at this second:

They never "dated" in a traditional sense. They just didn't correct people when assumptions were made.

They were both more into people of their same genders and kept their "relationship" going to ward off homophobia and questions from parents.

They developed the weirdest sexual relationship. Ever.

I have a headcanon where sometimes Tenzin drops lore to Pema about what kinda stuff he did with Lin when they were younger and Pema needs to sit him down and gently ask him what the fuck.

Linzin got really into drugs and bad decisions! because being the children of the Gaang is incredibly difficult and awards you practically zero privacy. They were under a lot of stress and pressure. They cracked.

They both have the wildest ex-boyfriend/girlfriend stories. Those kinds of stories where they're telling you and they're laughing because they think it's funny now and you're just sitting there wondering if the police were called because again. What the fuck.
