Tyga Apologizes And Takes Down Offensive 'Ay Caramba' Music Video
Tyga has taken accountability for an offensive music video for his song âAy Caramba.â Since the initial backlash, the âRack Cityâ rapper, has removed the video and apologized to the Mexican community. The video showed Tyga in a variety of offensive costumes, with semi-naked Latine women in the background. Critics called the video racist and fetishistic. One Twitter user said it was the most racist sh-t they'd ever seen. However, some people were curious and still wanted to see the video. Tyga explained he never meant to offend anyone in an interview with Power 106 LA. He also said it's important that he apologizes to his Latin fans. âI kinda, like, tried to do my research a little bit. I tried to ask a lot of the people that I grew up with that are Mexican,â he said.

Tyga Isn't The Only One In Hot Water
Earlier this month, Gwen Stefani found her self the center of criticism when she released her music video for âLight My Fire.â In the video, the blonde singer can be seen wearing locs. Also, earlier this year, an old interview clip of Ariana Grande putting on an alleged blaccent resurfaced on TikTok. And as recent as last year, Justin Bieber caught flack for wearing locs. Appropriation is hyper-visible in the world of K-pop and Korean hip-hop, and some repeat offenders, like rappers Jessi, Jay Park, and Blackpink's Lisa Manoban and Jennie Kim, have received criticism as well.

There are a lot of celebrities who  don't address their offensive behavior, however, Tyga did the opposite. Though in a surprising twist, some of Tyga's fans want an apology from the interviewer he sat down with. Allegedly, DJ Gil âG Manâ Sotelo has a history of making anti-black statements.  Regardless of whether Gil from Power 106 will address his own racism accusations, but on Tyga's end, The 32-year-old rapper appears to take the racism accusations to heart. âIf they're offended, I'm offended.â
LAâs Power 106 & The LA Leakers show had this anti-black racist in studio requesting an apology for Tygaâs video. But no apology for the countless anti-black verbiage heâs spewed online. Black artists should stay away until an formal apology is issued by the show and station pic.twitter.com/9cYxpHl8ry

Itâs just occurring to me that maybe spending so much time trying to see a nipple on the Dangerously in Love album cover as a child wasnât exactly hetero behavior
i think we need to accept that when a female celebrity dates someone who is violently racist misogynistic a predator etc. the first thing we should think should not be "she could do better" but "why is she okay with this" like hold these women accountable
Only people not calling out Megan Fox and the like, are people who donât know that MGK is a piece of shit.

Writing Playlist
These are my favourite songs to listen to while writing, along with the feelings they evoke in me and the situations they remind me of. If you make your own playlist, please tag me! I wanna see.Â
Hans Zimmer - Time (Inception): realizing your insignificance in our ever-expanding universe, watch time (whatever that might be) loop endlessly around you. Past, present, future, all connected through endless wormholes, floating amidst a thousand stars, those places where reality feels altered (abandoned buildings, the woods at night, rest stops on highways.Â
Ludovico Einaudi - Experience: Hope, when flowers grow in the dark, making your peace with that which you cannot change, not giving up.Â
Theory of Everything - Ending Scene Music (The Cinematic Orchestra - Arrival of the birds): being freed of boundaries, the bittersweetness of having arrived in the future, seeing how things turn out, but not being able to tell your past self, wanting to learn everything there is to learn about the world we live in.Â
Game of Thrones: Season 6 OST - Light of the Seven: Anger, revenge, avenging yourself and those you love, cunning. Â
Zankyou no Terror OST - Von:Â Finding a sliver of hope when all else feels lost, healing.Â
LORDE - Everybody Wants To Rule The World: Cunning, great ambition, rebelling, disregard for rules.Â
The Rains of Castamere:Â Pride and honour, duty, war.Â
Zack Hemsey - The Way (Instrumental): An eerie melody, the devastation of knowing the war is lost but continuing to fight, walking in the land of the Dead. The last night with your peers before heading into battle.Â
Sleeping at Last - Saturn: Death of a loved one, mourning.Â
Ask i Memnu music: Passion, secrets, forbidden desires, sex.Â
Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars: Nostalgia, pulling a dĂŠrive with the person you love, escaping and leaving the world behind with them, the feeling of time stopping when youâre with them.Â
Death Parade - Â Moonlit Night: Sadness, being in denial, then finally being set free, allowing yourself to feel.Â
Andrew Belle - In my veins: Unrequited love, heartbreak.
Game of Thrones Season 6 OST - Winter Has Come: Longing for home, the coming of dawn after a night full of darkness, battle.Â
The Most Saddest Melody: Feeling lost, like a wandering spirit that never quite reaches its destination. Reflecting on the mistakes of the past, wishing you could change what was written in the stars.
Naruto Soundtrack- Sadness and Sorrow: As the name suggests, this song represents the deepest sorrow imaginable. I also hear a hint of nostalgia, loss of innocence, mourning.
Taylor Swift feat. The Civil Wars Safe & Sound: A sense of safety and stability in the middle of chaos, walking barefoot in the woods, the echoes of ruins, a bonfire. Â
ADELE - Love In The Dark | Kyle Hanagami Choreography (Leroy Sanchez Cover): Difficult relationship, feeling unwanted, when you finally accept itâs over and itâs time to let go.Â
Sleeping Beauty OSTÂ - Auroraâs Return/Maleficentâs Evil Spell: (from 1:48 minutes until 3:40)Â Feeling someone breathe on your neck when no one else is there, being followed by someone you cannot see, waking up at three am for no apparent reason, sounds you cannot explain, shadows in your peripheral vision.Â
Alex & Sierra - Little Do You Know:Â Falling in love and the hurting that comes with it, loving someone unconditionally and fearing what that might mean, overcoming obstacles in a relationship.Â
Parachute - Kiss Me Slowly: First kiss, slow and tender, yet powerful and dizzying. Waking up in the arms of your loved one for the very first time.Â
Christina Perri ft. Steve Kazee - A Thousand Years: A marriage proposal, spending the rest of your life with your soulmate, growing old with them.Â
Chester See - God Damn Youâre Beautiful: Pinning, someoneâs beauty taking your breath away, your heart racing when you see them.Â

this feeling is scary as FUCK it dawns upon you that something is so quiet or abandoned or empty and vacant that its like the universe forgot to make something happen in the one spotlike you found a glitch in real life like everything seems fake and unreal and real and not fake all at one and youre so confused
One of my favorite things about writers is that you can post any vaguely relatable âwriterâs problemsâ sentiment and writers will use it to call themselves out. Itâs like going up to a stranger of a fellow writer and saying, âHey, are you down to absolutely roast yourself?â And the answer is always an enthusiastic, unwavering, âOh, hell yes, let me tell you about this fuckinâ bitch.âÂ
everything can be magical if you let it be. i remember the first time seeing red-winged blackbirds i was justâŚenthralled. i watched them for maybe an hour. i thought they made the sweetest noises and were just so pretty. and i found out later on that people consider them nuisances and pests. theyâre literally common all over the united states but because they werenât familiar to me they werenât a burden or an annoyance but something beautiful. if we donât let other people tell us how to feel about things, maybe we can just like things for what they are
this is a hotter, deeper take than i ever expected to see from this blog, but youâre so fucking right and i think this is a good ass post and a sentiment everyone should at least think about
