now that i've spent five weeks doing nothing but watching football, how does one move on from the world cup?? do i have to pick a professional team to support now or what? while my team didn't make it too far, i loved wearing my Brazil jersey and repping my culture. does anyone else feel more patriotic while watching sports or is it just me? i haven't felt this Brazilian in a long time. / @limelightblvdstarters

Next summer, we've got the Women’s World Cup! It’ll even be hosted in Brazil. I might be a little biased but I think it's gonna be great. As for what team to support, you’ve got a few choices! On the men's side, there's LA Galaxy or LAFC. Those are the rivals. For the women's side of it, San Diego FC was my former team. Those games are so fun. But if you're looking to stay specifically in LA, that would be Angel City FC. They’ve got young players who are genuinely so fun to watch too. Luckily, soccer has grown a lot so there's lots of teams to support; either by watching the games or attending one in person. I see both sides of the coin. They both have their benefits, honestly. If you ever need a crash-course in what jerseys to buy, I’m your girl.

Alex, I have to say I long admired the absolute precision and elegance you bring to the pitch when you played. Back in the day when I was in America, watching you command the game is a masterclass in poise that I find quite captivating.

This is beyond kind of you, wow! Thank you, that means so much. Whenever possible, I always just wanted to do my part to contribute to either team I was lucky to be apart of. Whether it was with the national team or at home in San Diego, playing for as long as I did was the true privilege. If it's alright, I'd like to throw all this praise right back at you! I mean, seriously. Loki is an iconic piece of history that gets to be recognized through your portrayal. That's so special. I admire your charity work as well! maybe this is my recency bias talking but i really love our latest album Everyone's A Star and think it's some of our best songwriting and the hooks are a killer. it's fun, but also introspective and i think people would really enjoy the tracks. not that i don't love all of our albums but this one is def my current fave. it's also full of songs that sound amazing live, so if you're ever in need of something to do, we're currently on tour and i might know someone who can get you into the arena. just saying.

Capri sun is considered a snack food? I thought they were juice. I feel well behind on that. I would say banana bread, especially if it has chocolate in it. That just hits different. Especially when it's just come out of the oven.

You don't consider drinks a part of the snack deal? I guess because when I think of Capri Sun, I think of Lunchables. It instantly turns into a whole snack. I can see the appeal of banana bread with chocolate. Almost anything can be improved by adding chocolate. Have you mastered the art of baking banana bread yourself or do you prefer trying all the different brands that have already made it, to find the perfect one?

first of all, I love the phrase “flavor of the month”. I’ll be stealing that, if you don't mind. I can happily say I do own that shirt! how were the festival dates?

this isn't recent because i found out a long time ago but it's what i could come up with. it completely sent me down a rabbit hole: octopuses sometimes collect little shells, shiny objects and bits of coral just because they seem to like them. they'll even decorate the entrance to their dens with them. i don't know why, but i find it weirdly wholesome. now i'm curious, though... what's the last fun fact you learned that made you immediately want to tell someone else?

those type of fun facts are the best. I’ll always love a rabbit hole, they make me feel smarter, haha. sticking with the ocean theme, i present you; jellyfish can reverse their aging process. when an immortal jellyfish restarts its life course, it also repurposes and regenerates its cells by something called transdifferentiation. but there’s a catch; the  life-renewing process can only start if the jellyfish is threatened or harmed in some way, like rapidly changing ocean temperatures. oh, and sea slugs can eat them–thus, ending this endless game of ocean life. do you ever find yourself watching any of those nature documentaries to fall asleep? I’m guilty of that.
