I miss you so much too, and a girls' getaway sounds like a escape. Honestly, both of those options sound incredible, but given how hectic things have been lately, I am leaning into the second option so much more. I love The Summer I Turned Pretty with all my heart, it gave me so much, but as an actor, you always itch to stretch different muscles. Moving from sweet, sun-drenched drama to something as dark and intense is such a thrilling pivot. And you are so right, I can only imagine straight up horror movies are even more a blast to shoot. No no, that's not what I meant. Just had to say it that fans ate the tv show up and are just excited about the movie. People just want to know what happens to the characters. And once that's over, you can say goodbye to Belly and do some more iconic things. Although, you might always be seen as Belly. That's what happened to me with Zed. I'll always be that zombie boy but it's alright. If it wasn't for that franchise, I wouldn't be where I am today. Oh, it hasn't filmed yet? That explains it. The fanbase is so intense, but in the best way possible, they’re just genuinely so invested in these characters and need closure and I can def respect that even if my mind wants to push forward at times.
