can you go tell my fanbase that?? because i get bullied every damn day on the camera app and they have no chill. tbh, i've kind of moved away from posting anything too personal on social media. just post things about the tour, the music and all that jazz. the older i get, the less i want people knowing about me. now though, you have to tell me what cereal you were posting about? if it's something other than honey nut cheerios i'm going to be judging you for it.

started feeling brittle as soon as the clock struck midnight so thanks for the reminder. also thanks for not showing up on my lawn at six in the morning — appreciated that one the most. yeah, i had the baby for the day. we did lunch and then chilled at home. trying to get as much time in with her that i can before we hit the road again. what have you been doing with your time off?

Are you going to do the boyband thing for your whole career? Or do you have aspirations to like, branch off as a solo artist? Even if it's just a little side project?

we're going to be a band for life. they're my brothers and we'll always make music together. it's a forever thing, we can't quit each other. i actually have two solo records. we've all made solo albums and i think that's what makes us better musicians. we can all have our own thing and then get back together to combine all of our passions into the music we make as a band. best of both worlds, you know? wouldn't change a thing about it. i know a lot of actors eventually want to direct. is that something you'd be interested in?

so i'm here to confess that i've only just started watching the walking dead; how slow i've been with it isn't exactly relevant but still brings me to my question: how long would you be able to survive in a post-apocalyptic world? do you think you'd fare okay against zombies? i'd like to imagine i'd be fine but if they were like the ones from 28 days later that's another story altogether.. i'm pretty sure they're only supposed to be able to hobble and not run at me like i'm hoarding (or am?) the last piece of cake at a function. check the rulebook on z-etiquette. @limelightblvdstarters

oh, i've got no delusions about my abilities. i know i would not last a day in a post-apocalyptic world. i need caffeine to survive and i would not handle sleeping in the woods or roughing it out. i barely survive being on a tour bus these days. the zombies would get my ass immediately. what would be your biggest downfall during a zombie apocalypse? what's something a zombie could use to lure you into danger?

is it a good thing? a bad thing? like, should i be offended if someone calls me this? it isn't my usual vibe, but i find myself singing it all the time. it really is. something theatrical about screaming along with it. i love this challenge and fully accept.

i think technically it means someone who's getting old and isn't in touch with the trends these days. basically boomer but a little less insulting. i listened to the song again and while i think it's great, i think i'm going to need to hear your rendition of the song. just for scientific reasons. hit me with all of your suggestions, my playlist is yours to play around with, ms. maybe this is my recency bias talking but i really love our latest album Everyone's A Star and think it's some of our best songwriting and the hooks are a killer. it's fun, but also introspective and i think people would really enjoy the tracks. not that i don't love all of our albums but this one is def my current fave. it's also full of songs that sound amazing live, so if you're ever in need of something to do, we're currently on tour and i might know someone who can get you into the arena. just saying.

making me feel old here, mate. you know my answer to celebrating your birthday is always a yes, no matter if it's a dinner or a party. let me arrange the dinner for us, find somewhere fitting for the birthday boy and his guests. nah, no plans just yet. i'm slacking real hard this year on making any. rip.

very embarrassing. about as embarrassing as it is for me to say i have no idea what unc status means, so i am just going to go ahead and say yes, you are establishing that. i don't listen to country radio, but that song has been everywhere. it's such an earworm, so would just suggest listening to it. anything you can scream along to for sure. anything 'dad rock' hits different in the car. bon jovi, queen, springsteen.

do you think some songs just hit different in the car? i am not much of a country music fan but that 'choosing texas' song that is everywhere? came on the road and i'm driving down country lanes and just loosing myself in it. felt like i was in the music video. only i am driving to oxford, not through texas. not sure 'choosing oxford' has the same ring to it. // @ashtonfletchxo

how embarrassing would it be if i admitted i've never actually heard that song? would it solidify my unc status even further? here i am, co-opting the cowboy aesthetic and yet i don't listen to country radio. i'm such a poser. what other songs is on your driving playlist? are you more into slow songs for the car or do you prefer anthems you can scream along to? i firmly believe some songs are just better while in motion. Born to Run? infinitely better in the car.
