It's a great kiss. It's a perfect kiss. It's never anything less than, really, and he melts into it way too quickly, hums, smiles, thinks he'd easily like to stay just like this for another hour or four, duties be damned.

He's got his arms thrown carelessly over Decker's shoulders, not even wound around his neck, just this nonchalant drape against him, and he'd naturally pressed closer as they kissed. They part, and Eggsy finds himself still smiling; their noses brush just before Decker withdraws, and Eggsy's inching a little closer, insistently rising up on his feet only to find Decker's moving, too, just to maintain that distance.

And that's actually fucking horrible.

"Hey —" and then Eggsy does actually wind his arms around Decker's neck, wanting to keep him here, and Decker's still not relenting, "— Hey!"

It's clicking that is direct action, and Eggsy doesn't let him go, but now they're face to face and Eggsy's looking visibly confused and offended, and given that he knows Decker more than enough by now? Yeah, this prick's doing it on purpose.

"— WILL you fucking — Christ!"

Please, PLEASE give him a warning before he gets home to this. It'd just been the quickest debrief after something had nearly gone horribly wrong, so no need to phone his sister or his mum to watch over JB and Trinity; there and back, as soon as possible, and he'd been looking forward to collapsing back into bed the second he returned.

Only he's greeted by Death looking like the perfect picture of nonchalance, and JB and Trinity look perfectly content, curled up beside the couch on the floor, and he's got to have a stern talk with them later for not warning him about the sudden visitor.

Or maybe it's a good thing that they trust Death.

He can't tell if that's a comforting thought or not.

After the initial shock wears off, he sighs; there's the realization that, yeah. He's sort of safe here. Actually very safe here.

( It hasn't come to him, yet, the fact that the way he'd narrowly avoided a very unsavory fate is because of this being in question, who evidently feels welcome enough to make a home here. )

"... You gonna be here long?" He's loosening his tie. Maybe it's worded poorly, but it's sort of a hopeful nonrequest; he's in favor of the answer being something along the lines of letting him know that Death has no other priorities.

... Other than entertaining an agent.

That's got to be the most egotistical thought he's ever had in his life.
