Artist to artist

(!!Do not feel forced to answer this question i am merely seeking guidance and or tips on how to better improve my own art.!!)

How, how are you all so good with your physique, faces, proportions in your art?! How have you all conquered these areas that give me hell make me want to pull out my hair and occasionally throw my phone because I personally love drawing i have been trying my damndest to improve yet I remain on the losing end. So i ask you how you manage so well. Me personally I use just my fingers on ibis paint x now I didn't think that affected it but maybe it does. I have tried comic style, free hand, looking at inspo bases and feel like I've still not improved at all. If any of you have tips or input I beg you, help me. 🙏 😔

Here is my recent art. Some may say its not bad and its not but I still want to improve somehow and overcome this hurdle in which I can not get better.

Deleting all my past art and just having my two best out front on my profile of my two oc's. Here's Giovanni.

I'll add backstory and stuff below if any of you want to read it.

Backstory:

Giovanni is a battle nexus champion working under Big Mama. Now he is not like other mutants he is a hybrid between a turtle and lizard. He is 22 years old and has been in the battle nexus since sixteen. He tends to fight hand to hand but prefers his signature weapon which i believe is called chakram. Or in this case double chakram or war disks. If you want to know anything else about my oc feel free to ask. You may draw him too.

Giovanni grew up under Big Mama, and his childhood was basically a boot camp. No softness, no real memories, just nonstop training until most of his early life blurred out. When he turned sixteen, she threw him straight into the Battle Nexus, and he’s been fighting ever since. His hybrid body, the claws, tail, slitted pupils, is just something he uses to win. Nothing more.

Personality:

He doesn’t really do emotions. Most of them stay muted, and anything he does feel gets bottled up until he’s in the arena. Anger makes him step away for air, but he never shows it. Affection is hard for him, and when he tries, it comes out as protecting someone or doing things for them. He keeps his sexuality to himself, not because Big Mama would care, but because vulnerability isn’t something he trusts.

VILLAIN OC: JULIUS

Backstory: Julius didn’t grow up; he awoke. Born as a Krang experiment meant to be a perfect weapon, he opened his eyes at twenty‑one in a sterile lab surrounded by beings who believed they could command him. Their first mistake was trying. His awakening was a controlled rampage cold, precise, and murderous ending with Krang Prime’s death and Julius claiming the throne before he had even spoken his first full sentence. The Krang had celebrated his off‑the‑charts mental readings before he awoke, imagining a tool they could wield, but Julius was never a tool; he was a tyrant waiting to exist. He encountered adults only as enemies, villains who tried to order him or insult him, each one dying to make a point. He isolated the Krang immediately, torturing them into loyalty through a brutal initiation that cost them a tentacle, awake and screaming. He never had peers, never had childhood, never had innocence; he began life already violent, already intelligent, already sovereign. Betrayal came naturally to him first against the Krang, then the Foot Clan because he never saw people as anything more than obstacles or targets. His first obsession was Leo’s family when he was overcome by jealousythat leo had something like that, he vowed to make it his. his first emotion was rage, and his first worldview was that he was strong and the world was weak. Julius didn’t become a tyrant; he awoke as one, fully formed, with no moment of breaking because he never saw people as human to begin with.
