HELLO PEOPLE OF THE TMNT FANDOM!

I have a very exciting announcement!

On the 1st of September of 2026, (this year.) This blog will be hosting the first Underrated TMNT Au Competition! It is planned to have 16 creators compete against each other to make it to the number 1 spot!

This is a competition for underrated creators and their au's! So if you know anyone that isn't getting the appreciation that they deserve, then this is the place for them!

To enter yourself or someone else, send an email to [email protected] or send in an ask! (If entering someone other than yourself, please ask the creator first if they'd like to join. Thank you!)

And now, I'm tasking you with this, fellow tmnt fan! Spread the word of this competition! You can tag people and ask for entries to have a better chance at making it into the 16 that will be chosen!

For extinction AU --- where Splinter? Did he die in the pandemic?

Excellent question. Short answer. Yes

Long answer. When he was Lou he was already sick. Just not as sick as everyone else because of his isolation from other humans. While he was in the nexus.

But after Draxum used him to mutate the boys the process weakened him and he succumbed to the illness just like everyone else shortly after. Not before blowing up draxums lab but come on.

And this point losing the lab is just part of the character. Hahah
