These are the first wedding pictures I have had the pleasure of taking. With documentations as delicate and private as weddings, sharing pictures is typically not an option. These are of my cousin and her husband. Thankfully they had no objections to me using them for my portfolio.
A tip to any amateur photographer: know what your rights to the usage of any video or photography you took on a gig. Typically, if you have a contract, it will be stated in there. Be sure to read it. Using content you shot on assignment for your reel or portfolio could potentially land you in loads of trouble down the line.
For the lighting in these images, I used a camera-mounted flash, or natural light. I did not have an ND filter, and figured a nice way to make these pictures translate well into intimate, nostalgic would be to under expose my subjects, and push the exposure in post. That allowed me to get better reading of colors and details, in the highs of the sky. I adjusted the lows and black-points to desirable levels, and then dodged-and-burned specific areas like the eyes, or rings.
