a funny thing about having a Problematic Blorbo is that you'll periodically come across a post along the lines of "um let's not forget that [Blorbo] is a bad person..." listing their various crimes, and if you have a modicum of intellectual honesty you find yourself nodding along and saying yeah it's true... but it's the greyness of their character that makes them so compelling... At the same time though you have a little Saul Goodman in your ear going "your honor in their defense: who cares like omfgggg who caresssssss like come onnnnnn"

its silly but it amuses me when a media has a masked character and its built up as a big mystery what they look like under the mask and then 3 seasons in they take off the mask and they look like: a normal brown haired guy. like well i don’t know what i expected i guess but thanks for the build up i guess.

I love that trope you get in a lot of computer games and shows and stuff over the past 20 years or so where it's the climax and the Chaotic Big Bad takes over and does like. Their own version of the interface or the intro or whatever, just makes it their own little world for a bit. Renames shit, makes the title sinister, fucks with the music, fills the credits with their own name. It's always so fun.
